OK ideas for next tourney guys. I was thinking international tourney in the style/format of this one or pick any club team you like tourney......but am open to suggestions, so get those suggestions in guys.

Hmm I like the idea of a European Championship. 16 teams, 4 groups (of 4), everyone plays each other in their group, top 2 from each group go through to quarters and so on. I think Selix suggested that format previously, it would certainly prolong the tournament and give people more of a chance to get through. Well we shall wait and see what ideas some of the other guys come up with

I like the idea of Euro Championship teams because it stops people from being able to be Brazil.

I've tweaked my original idea so here is my suggestion.
Ryder Cup version 1.1
4 Groups with 4 Teams in each or 4 Groups with 3 Teams in each
Group 1 vs Group 2
Group 3 vs Group 4
Winner 1/2 vs Winner 3/4
You play every opponent once, so if the Groups have four members in them you have four matches in round one and four matches in the final. (if you advance)
3 points = win
1 points = draw
0 points = loss
The Group with the most points advances to the final. No more individual honors, spread the love between your Group.
