AC Milan couldn't handle the man monster John Carew of Aston Villa (Lyon in the game) and I didn't get many opportunity to create an opening Lost 5-1 I think.

Lyon 5-1 AC Milan

My strikers are awful, that is all I will say! I know I won but I had soooooooooo many chances. First half was pretty much all me yet I only led 1-0 at half time. I defended well and went forward well too, saying that Legendary did have a chance which he hit the bar with so slightly unlucky there. Then I had my usual second half where I let up slightly for some weird reason. Legendary was in the game more, creating a few good chances for himself. I still thought i was defending well and attacking decently too though and that paid off when I went 2-0 up. Then a few minutes of dodgy passing ensued and he got through for 2-1, at that point I thought "oh god I am gonna rue my missed chances". Didn't though as I went straight up the other end and after loads of bobbles Carew tapped into an empty net to make it 3-1. Then it was just me soaking up Milan's play and hitting them on the break....got two goals like that though the 5th one was due to Milan's keeper going walkies for some reason. Should mention Legendary did hit the post once more from a wide angle, slightly unlucky but I thought I played well and deserved to win. Good game.

Lyon knocking out Inter and AC makes the my team was crap excuse redundant now. If you are good enough you can play well whoever you get.

A Semi between Myth and Ezee would be interesting. Me and Selix would have to get knocked out for that to happen but I'd say the chances of that happening are pretty high.

Athough it does help with a good team, you've shown that if you're good enough at the game, you can still get far with an average team, maybe not win it, but get far.

I'm out Lost 3-1 (I think) and 1P King put up a good match.

I should have burried it after having 16 shots with 11 on target compaired to his 6 and 4 on target.

One good thing I can take from the game was Pizzaro hitting the sweetest Volley I've seen on the 360 version just for it to hit the bar.
