Got a time of 1:01.144 but can not get it any lower so going to pass the car on

Managed to get a time of 1:01.195 after a couple of laps, but it's such a beast to control I doubt I can do much better with it. Car has now been passed on to Dirty Sanchez.

I must say that session was the least enjoyable I've had on Forza, that car is worse than the Lindenburger (?) Corvette. What a pile of **** for handling.

I thought the idea was to have an underpowered crap car and try and eek a decent lap out of it, instead of trying tame that pile of ****?

It's a truly horrible car overpowered and lightened. Why?

There is just no downforce at the rear. It doesn't like bends, hills, crests, accelerating or turning. I'm sure i could have got under a minute but i can't be bothered driving a car that makes me want to hurl my steering wheel and the ironing board its attached to through my telly.

Or maybe i'm a crap driver with no patience.

I couldn't get on with the car at first, especially with the wheel, so I just used a pad. But with a lot of practice you get used to it mate, I had to have stability management turned on with this car though, you could push it to the max without worrying about over doing it and spinning out. I've been using a lot of AWD cars in Forza, so it was a nice change for me.

Good call, we should try that next time then! Something like a C class Integra or Evo or something equally nice to handle.

Gradius sent me the car last night, I've set a time but can't remember it at the moment - just over 1min though. I'll pass the car on tonight - it's a bloody nightmare to drive and I can't be arsed.

I don't know if anyone else has said this, but the problem with this car is so obvious to me - it has a racing front wind and no rear wing. As you get faster, the front wing is pushing the car down, so there's no grip at the rear, hence the ridiculous oversteer.

Therefore, thanks to all the people who moaned about the cars rear wing at the start of this thread - nice work guys.

Edit - looked back through the thread, and can't find any posts moaning, so I might be wrong - sure I saw that before though, and the car definately had a rear wing.

Yeah, it got taken off because people said it was sacrelige on an elise. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
