    LOLOLOL

There must have been something wrong with my connection cos I swear I didn't intend to hit anyone. Except Juans head on.
Cars would just phase in and out of existence across the road, the first thing I'd know about a collision was the rumble, then the car would blink in front.

If you guys are free tomorrow, it looks like being a good one, 8pm.

      Force, let battle re-commence

Was a most entertaining session indeed. I suspect Force and Senna would've had kittens at what turned into something of a destruction derby!

RedOilCan's t-boning of TJ as revenge for taking out Jimmie (the Forza virgin) was a superb moment.

I think I didn't crash at the first corner just ONCE, as cars went blinking around in front of me like a strobe light show.
I'll long treasure steaming towards the victorious Juans, powering down the home straight, and sideskidding into him. His car span like a record, baby!

Obviously I couldn't say anything down my powerless headset, but the cries of ****!!! MUTHAF*****!!! were superb!

TJ's language was taken to a whole new level last night!

                I lolled.

To be taken out on the first corner, in my first online racer EVAR, was rather unsportsmanlike I must say.

Excellent racing again last night. Best race was Mugello, where Force and myself were a few tenths apart the whole race, and then he makes a small mistake on the LAST corner, and I sneak it by 5 hundreths.

Also, the last race on Road America was very tense as well, myself, Force and Kubrick all within a couple of seconds of each other the whole race. Top stuff.

yeah it was great racing last night ! we had some close battles on the track !
I even enjoyed racing the NewYork track, even though I eliminated there Clyde's Porsche (sorry Clyde) ....

I had more close finished, one with Kubrick on Sebring, side by side through the last corner on to the straight, it think it was only 0.004 of a sec in Kubricks advantage at the finish line....

great stuff, I think there were battles on the track in about every race, when we play more like this we will get even more close races and maybe even less accidents, going with 2 cars side by side though the corners takes some practice...

more of this please, next week ? ...

                      Huummmph!
Newbies unable to maintain a straight line!

                      As an example:
PG: I'm passing you on your right.
                      Smack.
PG: I'm passing you on your right - not turn right!
                      J: Oooops!

Ok, after some great racing last week, who would be interested, in a couple of weeks time, in a 50-lapper (one-off!) around Mugello?

Tyres and fuel would be on, and because it would be a longer race, there would be more room for pit strategy and tactics.

Plus, to make the racing closer, the grid would be enforced partuclar car selections, so the faster guys would be racing a particular car which was about a second a lap slower, and vice versa.

Realise 50 laps may put some people off, but it would be a one-off, and I think it's got a lot of potential.

R3 cars seem to offer best variety of speed and racing, although this will be open to suggestions.

As an example, some people would be racing either F430GTs or Vipers, others would be racing Porsche's.

Plus, with a two week lead-time, there is plenty of time to get practice in, and fine-tuning the handicap so that we are all roughly doing the same lap times.

                        Thoughts?

Ok, I'll get on it over the next day or so, have an extensive trial of all the cars and find out absolute time differences at Mugello.

Will report back on my findings.

I'd be up for it too. Have to be on a weekend though, wouldn't be able to find the time during the week.
