Just noticed Force that Nitrox is in the top 10 on a lot of the tracks in R1 class. Indeed he is No. 1 on Laguna Seca, 4 on Mugello, and 5 on the Nordschleiffe. No wonder he was a second quicker than us!!!

yeah, that guy is really fast. he has some amazing skills , still I would like to have a look at his set up !

I checked the replays of some of the fastest guys with the R3 cars, but mostly they drive the same lines as I do, so that's not it , I notice they just have higher corner speeds, and their cars seems to have more grip... so they have an excellent set up AND incredible skills, I lack a bit of both I'm afraid...
In my holiday a few months ago I started to toy around with the settings of the car, because I want to learn that ****, I just don't have enough patience to really get into it...
Still, there is a lot to be learned and a lot of time to be won..

Force, just a quick message to say that the setup we got last week is MUCH quicker than the one we've been running so far.

Within five laps I'd knocked off half a second of my best ever Silverstone time, and there is still more to come. Same with laguna seca.

I think now with this setup, or a little tweaking of it, will get us much closer to the fastest guys.

Anyone available for racing in the next few days?

I didn't have much time last weekend to get into the settings of the car, but I did race a few tracks tonight to see how it's handling, I think I;ve beaten on every track I've tried my best time !! this set up is damn good, and like you said allready, I think we can make it even better with a little tweaking for some of the tracks !

Senna, damn we had some amazing races again yesterday !
both using the new set up put us right back together again, laptimes were extremely close ! It was just me making the most mistakes again...

ps. I didn't manage to get under 7min on the Ring (YET!) I have a 7.02.xxx so far, but this weekend I;m gonna break the 7min , I just have to !

Yep, quite amazing!!

One tenth here, half a tenth there, dont know how it keeps on happening but it does.

Ill be online quite a lot this weekend, so we should have a few races if possible. I'll have a go at the Nordschleiffe tonight, as you say it is definitely possible. Without pushing, and going off at the penultimate corner, I did a low 7:04 in our race last night, and I know you were even quicker.

Have a look at some of our times now on the leaderboards, we are in or just outside the top 100 on a lot of the tracks, and there is still more time to come (plus a lot of these guys are running Vipers with ABS and TC on).

Both a PS3 today, got GT5 prologue for free with it ....

AI is a joke, the handling is ok but nothing like Forza, and the controller is terrible, I had to change the controller options to get the Acc and brake on the "analog" triggers... it just doesn't work right at all. If you're looking for a serious racing game you can better stay with Forza2.

all that said though.... it looks ****ing amazing in 1080p , and the presentation is top stuff ! The cars look absolutely amazing, the replays are like watching the real thing on TV...

but that doesn't make up for the terrible controls..

Wait til you try it online - I had about a dozen races last night and experienced more barging, smashing and ramming than when I played Flatout online! Also got a few time penalties for 'ramming' cars that unavoidably span right into my path

Doesn't help that all the races were with randoms though, as don't believe you can invite or join friends (unless I'm missing something?).

Personally, I don't find the AI any worse than Forza - I've been 'nudged' off the track several times so the AI in Forza stays on its racing line.
