Actually you can fly a little bit... not much, cos you're right, you can't really get it back on at all if you really take off.

With the new creation now, I am right behind the ghost on Sand Ocean 1, I beat Lightning 1 by about 3 seconds and currently whittling down Aeropolis 1 and trying to beat the ghost. Can stay ahead, just need to stop hitting the damn walls

Time for attack of the times... I must admit, the ghosts are easier to beat in GX than X... I didn't beat a single one there and I think I've bested nearly 10 in this so far

I checked out a F-Zero site yesterday (can't remember the name of the site though. )

Overall we aren't doing to badly, and i think some of the times up on that site were recorded using the "snake" technique. One interesting time though, someone put up 2'02"XXX for Aeropolis Multiplex using the Fat Shark and no snaking. Extremely quick.

Seriously though, that is one great ship. Faster top speed than the SP but nearly as easy to turn.

They do allow dakou (snake), flying and custom cars, but might put in a separate table for just "pure" times if there's enough demand.

Some of the times from here would do very well over there currently, there's only 2 people in general who are better than me so far...
