UNREAL TOURNAMENT III - CUSTOM MODS

Installing Unreal Tournament III mods on your PLAYSTATION 3.

1. Unzip the file to the root directory of any flash memory card that is readable by your PlayStation 3. It is already in the proper directory structure but, just in case, the path and filename need to be: ps3\savedata\blus30086-modimport\userdata.jam
2. Boot up Unreal Tournament 3 on your PS3
3. Go to the "Community" menu
4. Choose "My Content"
5. Press the [SQUARE] button to "Import Mod"
6. Follow the directions on the screen to import it from your memory device.

MOD DOWNLOADS

I've tried out many of the available mods on the PS3 and have found the official Epic site to be the best place as they seem to have links to all the mods on there.

EPIC GAMES: Full Releases
These should have been thoroughly tested but even though they are final releases may get updated occassionally.

EPIC GAMES: Beta Releases
Bear in mind that Beta releases are more than likely going to be fairly unstable but I've played many which work fine. If you do try them try to leave feedback so the modder can improve them.

EPIC GAMES: Mod Requests
If you there are any levels/characters/game modes/mutators that you'd like to see then post them here and hopefully it will inspire somebody to create what you want.

I can see this being popular online though, it's more or less an online only game! So I bet this thread will be busy.

Has anybody got any info on how the PC version works online? Is there some sort of friends system?

I imagine I'll stop as soon as I'm beating the hell out of you at this AND GT online...just like I did when Tekken first came out!

I read the other day that it won't be cross server because they've slowed the gameplay on the Playstation version down to suit the pad. So I dunno if we'll ever get chance to get raped by the PC players.

I might be getting it. I thought the game might be a bit fast paced for the PS3 and controller, but after seeing it on this weeks The 1Up Show, the PS3 version seems alot slower (a good thing according to those folks on there).

I suppose that they can't guarantee fairness as not everybody on the PS3 will be using a mouse & keyboard.

No the PC mods cn still be used on the PS3 version but you need to have the PC version to create the mods. Sod that but I will be downloading the popular mods from the net once they are avaialable to do so Wonder if the game wil have a link to where you can get them
