I had another go at this tonight.

I did that on my 16th lap, did 20 in total tonight. Whats really annoying is, just like last night, my best lap could have been another tenth quicker. I lost all my time in the last corner, the car just oversteered a tiny bit but enough to upset my line through the corner.

As TheForce said, its very tricky keeping any time advantage through the whole lap.

I think if someone has a real stab at this, a 1:03.1 is definitely possible, but it would have to be the PERFECT lap. Im really keen to see if someone can manage it.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed this challenge. The car handles like a dream, no sliding out of the corner, so big thanks to charles for coming up with this car.

Same here Roy, the races recently have been brilliant, even by the usually superb standards. I really feel that I've made a lot of progress on this game in the last couple of weeks, ive managed to set new best times on a lot of tracks. I think coming up against that Nitrox dude has really opened my eyes to what is possible. I've got within a tenth of him at Silverstone, and have actually beat him on Mugello by a couple of tenths.

If anything I'm driving a lot smoother through the corners now, not only am I making less mistakes but also my lap times have improved.

I like the handling of the cars in this game so much that actually it may be my favourite racing game so far, which is no mean feat considering how much I loved GP Legends and Formula 1 '97.

yeah, I know exactly what you mean, the last few weeks we had some amazing races, we race hard but fair, (even once in a while my outbreaking is a little over enthousiastic ) just like real racing is supposed to be ! going through 2 or 3 corners side by side , behind behind someone and really planning your overtaking ahead, like "if I take this corner a little wide I can get more speed on the straight to overtake in the next corner ..." excellent stuff !!
And the amazing thing to see is just like you wrote allready, we seem to improve all the time little by little, especially you Mike, last sundaymorning after the GP were some amazing laptimes ! ....

I lost all interest in about all other games... I just NEED to race , all I play for the last few months is Forza , Forza and some more Forza....

Now, I really need to get more out of the fine tuning of my R3 Ferrari, as I think we can shave of some time by having a better set-up... I must get into this a little bit more, I still have no idea what some changes I need to make to make the car quicker...

maybe we should put our heads together to find a good set up for the car, I think our driving styles are quite the same. Who knows we can create something to get into the top times with the R3 ...

oh, and I need a decent S class car where I race with for the victory online....

I spent a fair bit of time making the car handle well. I think whoever provides the next car (doesn't need to be the winner - someone volunteer) should also spend some time making it sorted rather than scary. Has to still be in the lowest class, so careful choice of rubber Vs mods.

Great car to drive but my time is a little disappointing 1:03.928, car passed to Kubrick.

I will gladly volunteer to provide the next car if no-one else want to.
