Don't be afraid to use the training mode.
It instructs you to brake way too early, but still gives you a rough idea of memorising the braking points and best lines through most corners.

Also, turn on the ghost option, and you'll get an AM2 staff member to compete against in Driving mode.

The AM2 guy is a robot! lol

I love the Driving mode against the AM2 ghost. It makes you realise how hard you can push. Definitely provides longevity to this awesome racer.
