Race Driver: Grid (demo) - Time trial thread

To enter you have to use the two time trials in the demo - the Euro challenge and the U.S challenge.

You may use whatever combination of driving aids you like, just make sure to post what aids you've used.

I've done a 1:15.5 in the BMW. Still a long way off the top.

God that BMW likes to lock up and go straight on. Wasted so many laps at the first corner it was untrue.

I've updated the leaderboard, although I need superstarbeejay to post the transmission and aids used for me to add you to the list.

Is the "world record" ghost really that? I almost beat it after a couple of laps with all the assists on. Just fluffed up the 2nd to last corner. Got a 1.18 something or other. From what superstar said above, I presume not.

edit: sorry, just answered my own question by going to the CM website and checking out the leaderboard. 1.13 at the top of the list..

I've just had a go on the US challenge. I've put it on the leaderboard.

We need some more people to have ago at this.

Did one lap before trying forza and got a 1.17.88.

All aids on. This is much more fun as a point and squirt game than taking it seriously.

That's a fast lap charles, putting you at the top of the Euro leaderboard.

I'll have another go myself later and see if I can do any better.

I managed to do a 1:15.87 for the Euro challenge, but I had to use all the aids to get it.

It seems all the online racing helped me get that time when I went back to the time trial challenge.

Use the aids. It makes it way more fun. I'm even using auto gears

US TT: 1.47.42 on lap 3. All aids on.

Turn em on peeps. Brake and turn in at the same time. It's pretty fun.
