That's bad news. Should I experience lag as well? I haven't got much online play experience prior to getting the PS3. Never really used the 360 for direct online gaming.

Maybe maybe not, not well up on these things.
I did experience some v you last night - but then I always have two bars (orange) showing playing against you and Largo, with the Asian's it's just one red one which is to be expected I suppose.Comment

This sounds great fun online. Would you guys recommend "upgrading" from the asian version to this? Regretting not getting the jpn one in the first place now.
Almost got my car fully tuned. Deciding which step-7 to go for with the engine. Can't decide between the turbo/super charger and the racing engine. Anyone know if other changes like the bonnet make any difference to performance?Comment

Johnny thanks for the times I've added them to the earlier posts good to see times going up on some of the other tracks. I'll have to move on from Myogi it has been dominating my play time of late.
I don't think you guys would be disappointed if you upgraded to the Japanese version.
The online racing on the whole is very good I've had some right tight battles, some I've won and some I've lost. The odd one has been lag affected but overall a great experience. Then there's leader boards for battle ranking, time trials.
It's so addicting I've just spent 2 1/2hours this evening trying shave time off my Myogi best. Eventually I've got it down to 2:38:407, gets me back up to 54th on that downhill at the moment.
My total playing time is currently shown as 55hours 11minutes.
