I've added everyone in the thread, though no-one seems to have their gate open...

Sorry for the ignorance, but do you actually have to manually go and open the gate? Simply adding friends isn't enough?

Yes, you have to open the gate. Just like the DS one.

Nice one cheers. I never really go to grips with the DS one so didn't get as far as trying online.

No wonder no one was visiting, I was just sitting in my town like a knacker.

What I will probably do in some cases is stick the wii on, opne the gate and then go something else. So if anyone pops in and I don't answer thats why.
