seems Mike was on a league of his own yesterday, especially Valencia !! good going there mate ! I need quite some practice to close that gap there.
I have to say it all worked well online, first practice laps then qualifying and then racing is quite fun, especially qualifying, taking risc or play it safe ? ...

sorry I had to quit already after 3 races, but during that last race I got a huge headache (racing with the flu was not a good idea)....

Next week we'll make up for this !

Last night was really good, especially for me the Brands Hatch race. Sharky was right up my arse until the last corner when he made a mistake - very tense stuff. I found that I am extremely nervous when someone is behind me, I look behind me too much and my lap times suffer. Definitely that is my biggest area for improvement.

I'm loving this game more and more now, and I've not even reached the F3000cars, which are supposedly extremely fun. I'm just finding that I can explore the limit of each car better than even in Forza 2, which is a big surprise, because I loved the feedback from the handling in that game.

Anyway, next week again for sure, and I'll be on this most nights I think so if anyone fancies a race, send me an invite

Is anyone using custom setups on this yet?

No, and that's the quickest way to beat me. I'm unbelievably shocking at setting up a car, all my setups were shamefully downloaded on Forza, and that can't be done here.

I'll try with this game, but judging from the fact I've always failed with other games, history will probably repeat itself

I'm also racing stock set up so far, I first need to finish the game and learn all the tracks and cars before I can be bothered to look into to set up of the cars , and just like Mike, I totally suck at setting up a car ! ...

sorry I didnt turn up on thursday guys got taken into hospital with pneumonia!
god knows where it came from,but anyway they will release me from hospital on mon/tuesday so should be on a couple nights time.

Urgh, my driving was so **** tonight - can't believe that I screwed up every race.
