I've been neglecting the ol' SFIV lately but will always be in for a little tournament. I like some of the ideas thrown about already too - best of 5, and mixing up the characters.

Also, not sure about the different characters idea - I would personally like to have a re-run of this tourney format first before trying other ideas, tbh.

i'm game for another so sign me up, not too fussed about format, but my preference would be for 3x3 and single sellection, seth off limits. only because that is the standard format at most events and what i'm used to.

Considering that's the first and only time anyone had the balls to not consistently block on wake up as you can get into mucho trouble with reversals etc. And I've played hundreds of matches...

I'd prefer a single character too, FWIW. Multiple characters would be a bit of an advantage to Ryu/Ken/Akuma players, given that there are three character in the game that are pretty similar.

But I'm only saying that because I'm crap with anybody who isn't Zangief.

Yep, I'll take part again. Keep the same single character format as last time but maybe make it so entries nominate their character before any ties are drawn.

I suspect I got beaten last time due to someone counter picking after I easily beat them in the warm up matches with the character they had already progressed in the PS3 tournament with.

I'll be in for another. Whatever system works for everyone is good for me regarding characters. I would suggest the fights are either 5 rounds or a best of 3, 3 round matches.
