Likewise, VM on 50MB has been bliss for me...

See I always have problems with Virgin connecting to my 360 now. Have to reset the ICS every time but that might just be the PC I connect it to being crap as I can't get it working with my new swanky Windows 7 PC for some reason.

Anyway, playing COD alot I would get lag quite alot with my 20Mb line yet when it came to downloading on the PC I would max out the connection fine. So it's obviously a prob going to the xbox for some reason.

Here's my ping test results also, which shows the line is pretty good!

After having VM in for a couple of weeks I had something odd happen last night trying to connect to Live. It couldn't obtain an IP address from the router, which hasn't been a problem until last night and I haven't made any changes to the router. When I checked the network settings on the 360 the IP was set to automatic, but the IP address it was using wasn't even the same range as what the router's DHCP range is set to, it was a completely different IP. No matter what I did it wouldn't pick up a valid IP from the router, so in the end I set the 360 up with a static IP and put it in the router's DMZ because like my Linksys and other 360, a static IP with port forwarding on the D-Link doesn't seem to get better than a moderate NAT, whereas auto settings do. The DMZ doesn't get better than a moderate NAT on my Linksys though, but does on the D-Link.

There were some problems with xbox.com and Live last night so it might not be an issue for you any more.
