Blur (Xbox 360)

Just had a couple of hours on this with Merf, Marmite and a couple of others who popped in now and again.

Simply the best online experience in a long time. Kind of like how I imagined Mario Kart would be with more than two players.

Highlights including:

Everyone ganging up on me and littering the track with lightning.
Me deciding that the C3 Drag model was suitable for the off road track and then regretting that decision about 3 seconds into the race as I lost control and slipped to last.
Overtaking Merf on the last corner just as he thought he'd won.
All of us at some point getting absolutely ragged and falling from first to virtually last in one crash.

Surprisingly, the Hackney tracks were really enjoyable, especially with 15 or so players.

I still think though, that fast American cars with no brakes or steering wheel are the future!!!

Anyone up for doing a 'Blur Championship'?

Player matches, set cars maybe max level of the lowest ranked player so everyone is on a level playing field? One race on each track with a Formula 1 scoring system?

What have the hackers done to the leaderboards?

You would have thought that it would be time for another ban wave from microsoft, I dont know why they wait for their big games to come out before they do it.

They could use stuff like impossible times from Blur etc

(guess they want to take out the most in one go with as little effort)
