Only just had a chance to do challenge 5 and my best is 28.96 in the Fiesar, which is pretty rubbish but I just want to get a score down for it really! Last exam is on Monday so will attempt challenge 6 after that.

28.96 is not bad at all. With this slower class it is less of a gap than if we were running Rapier

Not had time yet; snowed under with work and my brother is visiting me in Tokyo. Could have a stab on Friday night/Saturday morning which will still be around Friday evening GMT. Sorry for falling behind... 15 years ago I would have all the time in the world and want a new challenge every few hours!

Lol, just got 6:1 on my first attempt. Sure I killed more than that!

Edit: Just got 5:0 - not sure if that is better, worse or just the same in terms of goodness compared to 6:1?

In some ways I don't think killing more is better - I got to 200 really quickly through mines/good aiming but just didn't actually "kill" the targets.

Edit 2: Right, 7:1 now - does that beat 6:0?

Edit 3: Right (again) 6:0 now. So as it stands I guess my best score is either 7:1, or 6:0, depending on your viewpoint. Lets see if I can get 7:0 to "eliminate" (see what I did there?) the confusion!

Damn I wish I could join in here!
I planned on buying a PS3 last year and snapped up a cheap copy of Wipeout in preparation. Ended up not buying a PS3 and now I still have a mint, sealed Wipeout >.<

Question: Are the tracks/ships the same in the PSP Wipeout Pulse? I have that in my collection....and a PSP to play it on.

Woop Woop, 7:0!!! Think 200 kinda limits you to 7 kills as its worth 218 points - only way to get it is to get your last 2 kills with a quake. I guess 8 kills might be possible but would be very hard to do...

Edit: Oh and to answer my earlier question about whether 7:1 is better than 6:0 etc - the game has my records down as 1st: 7:0, 2nd: 7:1, 3rd 6:0, so I assume the higher the kill the better.

Fader - I've only ever owned a PSP and I guess which ever game was released first so don't remember it much but Wiki suggests the PS3 version is a HD combination of the PSP games so you could probably do at least some of the challenges on it. No idea if the PSP version would be easier or harder than the PS3 version though!
