SUPER HEXAGON - iOS / Android / Steam

I tried to do a fancy table for this but it ended up looking like bums. If lots of people join in then I will try again (with godawful colours and formatting, the works no less!), but for now if you go about posting your best times I will compile a league table in this post. AFAIK there's no major difference between versions, so we'll stick to just one table for each difficulty, but if you could just post which format you're playing on for reference's sake that'd be grand.

As well as my own scores, I've now updated the first post with a crude table - hurrah. However it's a bit sparse and I'm at the top, which now makes me look like a dick. Other entries please!

I can't play on a phone. It's far too sensitive. I lasted about 3 seconds tops and wasn't improving any.

It's freakishly hard, which is why it's famous. Edge gave it a 9.

Personally... I found it addictive for the first hour or so, but after I put it down I wasn't inclined to pick it back up again. The effort required to unlock and beat levels 5 and 6 - although I can see that it would be doable with practice - was too much to contemplate.

Great concept, totally ruined by such imprecise controls, im not sure how you did it, its probably more luck than skill based this game as the controls are $h1t.

I thought the controls were really precise.

When the shapes change you can get caught out, but other than that, it's a harsh, but fair game.

I used my Xperia Play's shoulder buttons at first, but eventually drifted back to the touchscreen.

I've never thought I'd beat a minute even on the "easiest" setting, but I eventually did it.
I've no plans to try and take Fuse's crown, mind you!

Up to 57 seconds on Hyper mode 2, the game's just a lottery though, it's pathetic.

Is it just me/my kindle fire, or are the controls a lot more sensitive on Hardest than any of the others? Looking at the sequences it should be pretty easy, but I can't get used to the controls on that one and can last twice as long on the first two hyper modes...

Anyone else find this?

The kindle fire is by far the worst gaming device I've ever used, it rarely bothers to charge, the placement of the charging cable literally couldn't be worse, so I'm always either being hampered or plagued by messages popping up telling me the battery is running down, when it'd be better if it just ran out so I'd only be interupted the once. I was just up to 44 seconds on hyper mode 2 when the battery message popped up, not only blocking my view, but diverting the control input to make the message go away.

Between that piece of **** and Super Hexagon is possibly the most frustrating combo I've ever seen.

The game is basically just a lottery where you need to develop insane skills just to enter. If it's not impossible combinations it's being punished for a mistake so small it wouldn't even be a mistake in virtually any other game.

Also, I've started turning the sound off, the music gets EXTREMELY annoying after a while, not least because it restarts every time you do.
