a question about the ps2 network adaptor

does anyone know if you'll be able to play us ps2 games online with the uk ps2 network adaptor with a modded pal ps2 ??? as I want to play games like Twisted Metal Online before it's released in the uk

I'm guessing you won't be able to m8.

I have a US one and as the startup disc (with the required drivers so to speak) is in the NTSC format, I'm thinking that a UK disc won't work.

Unless your machine is chipped of course!

it should work as the adapters are region free i think, plus your machine is modded so it will be able to boot the startup disc
