Actually, I dunno if it is faster overall - you'd got the time almost down man, and it seems difficulty to get it exactly right. You'll see what I mean... Sometimes, I'd got to the tunnel bit before the brick had smashed the ice (also, I do this on that course with the ski bike thing/garage; I get to the door before he does, and it still closed ). I only found out about it tonight though, mad!

Does pushing the control stick forwards whilst on snow help? I hadn't noticed, so haven't been bothering, but I heard it "definitely" speeds you up.

I *think* it does, but I haven't sat down and tested (i.e. comparing to a ghost or something...). It's kind of a habit I've picked up thanks to F-Zero - I tend to "track" the bumps and stuff, whether it be pulling back or pushing forward. But yea, I generally hold the stick forward...
