Can anyone tell me if my Tenderfoot pass tactics are off the ball?

Sharkattack, I think your doing it fine from what you said. You may want to try jumping whenever you have chance though. From the start I pretty much jump and make a good landing to boost my speed slightly. On that 1st big jump by the way, I jump off that cliff stay to the left of that grind rail and do a mini jump for extra speed, this takes me over that ramp thing and lines me up with lots of speed for the 2nd ramp where you perform the 2nd huge jump. Hope that helps!

When I do mini jumps it slows me down though. If you lot are using jumps to gain speed and time I'd love to know how.

I find that I can get up to near top speed going to the right of the grind rail, when I try going over the mini bump to the left of the rail my 46'20" time trial ghost flies past me.

I don't get how you guys are getting these times. The only flaw I can see in my Tenderfoot run is the S bend but even that wouldn't gain me 3 whole seconds.

Not me -- I had quick go last night and got frustrated. Quickly. So I gave up

Anyway, I find there is a rhythm to jumping, so not to slow you down and to keep your speed. I must admit I don't jump that much, unless I make a mistake as it seems to solve any minor problems with "bouncing" and other such things. I only tend to jump in deep snow when I'm at optimum speed too... just keep practicing, most of us have had a good week or so to streamline those times 8)

Yeh maybe i'll switch my aims for a while and rather than time trial the novice tracks every time I pick up I should actually finish Extreme Match Mode and get some more coins

You got all the boards unlocked?

Nope. I'm using the Winterborn board (first lot of unlocked boards).

Sharkattack, you will see a huge leap in performance when you get the better boards. Sort out coin challange and you'll be set.
