SOCOM 2 (US) DNAS authentication error 833 - any solution?

i'm using a modded PAL PS2 and this f***ing DNAS system keeps me from playing Socom 2 (US/NTSC) online! ft:

has anyone managed to solve this authentication problem?

please share your experiences and/or thoughts with me!

It's quite possibly the fact that it's detecting the modchip.

I think any import game on a PAL PS2 will fail DNAS, modchip or not. The game and console have to match

Mojib ribbon does the same thing for me.

yeah, i know i'm a bad ass playing an imported game on a modded ps2 and have the guts trying to play online this way!

but maybe there's some trick to get around this authentication system!?

there are ways around it

check the forums
another way to do it is backup your original and patch it with the dnas code then re-burn it , might work depending on what game it is.
