Mac address of Xbox - possible to change for Live?

Basically....

My box is modded using Evox. Is there any way to change the mac address, disable the chip, go online with it.... the point - so the MAC addres is the same as my PC so that when I unplug my PC, the Xbox will "replace" it on the Uni network?

Yup, do it through the network settings on the dashboard.

Is it really that easy? Just set a MAC address then they'll think it's my Laptop instead of an Xbox. Do I need to ensure any settings in Evox are static/dynamic etc so it won't auto change the MAC address?

Should I enter the Mac address say:

or


00-0b-cd-84-0b-d7

Doubt it.

Although, if you are doing this on the sly, I suggest you let the powers that be know. If they do find out, they might be pricks and kick you off the network. Which would suck.
