Recommend Me Some Online PS2 Games Please

Righty.
I've just got myself a network adaptor for my PS2 for a bargain ?7 and want some games for it.

Besides Socom, Everquest, Amplitude and Twisted Metal what games should I try?

I don't really like FPS or serious shooters like Rainbow 6 though.
So what what games should I try?

My old flatmate has a beta test acc for the ps2 stuff and we always used to play Hardware (Online Arena to give it its full title).

It's basically Q3A in buggies, tanks and suchlike. Very fast, a lot of fun and uses both sticks very well (steering on the left and rotating yr gun turret on the right).

I've not played the finished version but was always a good laff. If you can get it cheap give it a whirl maybe...

Hardware is superb, and the finished version is a lot better than the beta... it's flawless

Socom is the only game worth playing IMO, ive got a lot of PS2 games online and not are any good, if you want online play then XBOX live is the only one worth playing.

PS2 online is just full of kids, who want to abuse you for getting there "kill"

Not in my experience, Socom is full of kids but Hardware is full of dutch and french people.

The big one for my PS2 is probably going to be Champions Of Norath next month and Pro Evo 4 later in the year. I was just wondering if there was any little gems I was unaware of.
Like I said, the adaptor only cost me ?7 brand new, got it whilst I could.

Socom 2 and hardware are the only two worth playing.They are the only two which have a large number of people playing regularly.I play Socom 2 quite a lot.
Amplitude was really good, But even when it was released it was rare to find more than about 30 people online.I doubt if anyone plays it now.
Everquest was also pretty good, But it didn't have enough people playing either.An online rpg witn only about 100 people playing at peak times isn't a worthwhile experience.
Stick with Socom 2.And if you do start playing it don't give up too easily.It's full of amazing players and it's a very unforgiving game for new players.Stick with it and you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
