How does this sound.

10 laps per race as said above, with 1 pit stop.

12 points for a win,11 second, 10 third etc etc right down to 1 point for last. we race with a full grid of NTSC-uk players, we will race through all the different types and we will stop it either at a certain amount of races or when interest starts dipping?

ill keep a table running with everyones scores and if im not racing someone can keep score and email them to me for the table??

anyone like this idea? have a better idea? know how improve it? see any faults?

yep that sounds good, but wouldn't 12 for a win and then 10 for 2nd be better, going down to 1point?

Can do mate, would that be 1 point for 11th and last or nothing for last?

well i was thinking if it was 12 for 1st 11 for 2nd then there isn't much of a reward for comming 1st, so having 12 for 1st and 10 for 2nd is more rewarding for comming 1st.

as for the points for lower positions then it depends on how many take part, i was just looking at the F1 points system and that looks good, but if we extend it to say 2nd to last place gets 1 point and nothing for last, as that adds a bit of compition in the lower places aswell.

Remember the game gives each player points. You can set the game to a certain amount of races and it keeps track of points.
