Last night went so smooth, I can hardly believe it was Promyvion! When did we first enter Lufaise Meadows, must have been 11 o'clock or something?

Not a single MR we fought was a fake.
We didn't get any links at all.
Found the spire almost immedately on entering the 4th level.

Then onto the boss fight (I can't wait to see the video!)

I reckon we would actually have broken the record if we hadn't rested for so long at the beginning - my 1st attack was a tidal wave, and the last attack was a tidal wave. 3 minutes from start to finish The record was 3 mins 33 seconds.

I didn't take a single point of damage during the whole fight. I didn't need to drink my regen drink.. I also left the fight with my hi-potion, my hysteroanima and every single one of my antidotes.

Leviathan got off all three tidal wave attacks and each one hit for 429 points of damage.

Flawless victory! That thing did seem to be hitting the rangers very hard though, if it had turned on hicory or talizker or myself we could have been killed instantly I reckon. So thanks for keeping it all under control!

For WoW you choose which server you want to go on, also as far as I know you cannot use a control pad, which puts me off too as it works so well with FFXI, RSI will be a problem for me if I play on keyboard too much.

Just so you know there is an NTSC-uk LS type thing on a certain server , its not the same as PIE inc. I have a human mage on it but not done more than make the character so far.

Tobal, promy mea or holla tonight if you want, your choice which we do.

Yup I'd agree. I watched the video last night after I logged out and we did the BCNM in about 3 minutes once all the buffs were in place and the mages were recharged.

I'd say it was significantly easier than Holla, though once we had the strategy down Holla was fairly straightforward too.

what are you using for the videos, Fraps is what im trying out, I did hook my pc through my dvd recorder for the shadow lord fight, but quality was quite low.

Registered a copy of Fraps last night. I also have VirtualDub installed with a DivX and the Lame mp3 libary for encoding to Mpeg video and audio (which will hopefully be a *lot* smaller).

I did convert a video before (made with unregistered Fraps) using VirtualDub and it came out a lot smaller. I only used a single parse though during the conversion. Apparently if you do two parses a better image quality is retained with a smaller file size (though that might only apply for people trying to burn films etc. to DVD formats). I might have a go later with two parse conversion anyway, and see if it makes much difference.

Well like Darwock said last night BCNM couldn't have been played better. The party set up seems perfect for promyvion and the tactics are flawless. Everyone did everything on cue hate management stayed with the melees with all the main tanking by me. Thnakfully it hit it huge damage move while I had invincible up so left me untouched.

The new areas are amazing the work that's gone into the locations there is stunning. I shall now be making the big push for 40 to do the next CoP mission out there. Looks like a great place to go level as well if we work it out, no parties, no camps, plenty of mobs should be fast exp and good drops for selling.

Today I am mostly eating ginger nut biscuits.

i don't think i even be at all tonight. Beside i got a taste of returning to single action and waiting for a party for 1hr last night before my connection failed, hilighted the crap i really hate about this game when its comes to being a none RNG DD.

Failed another Holla run earlier, it went really well untill the boss was on about 10% hp, then we just could not finish it off.

I have another Anima ready for the next try, I might go for a 2nd Anima as well if I have time.

Sounds like roughly what happened to us first time around. Think we just needed a little more firepower, or a little more mp/juices ... or both.
