I restarted playonline and its now got to the download bit again.

I was one of the lucky few who got the update done, and got online, before the servers had mega-problem. Only about 500 people online for 2 hours, which means we went and killed adamantoise, orcish overlord and tried cassie but a kuwaiti gilfarmer was holding it >_<

All Righty! RDM AF1 in Davoi.

The good news. The area with the NM I need to kill (Purpleflesh Brukdok) is easy to get to and all the mobs nearby (3 in immediate area) are EP to me (RDM43). The bad news is I understand the NM is a very tough BLM with a whole bunch of HP and some nast ga spells.

So, the plan is to tackle this tomorrow starting 8.30-9pm ish. So if anyone fancies coming along for the ride I will be most grateful! Thanks in advance to Darwock for returning the AF1 favor

Well now I've seen the xp changes I'm even less impressed than before. They've gimped the game, big time...

200k drop in exp requirement for 75 that's just stupid. Really think they should have put flags on to allow those that wanted to to play on easy and level faster, that way we could have just avoided partying withe em.

Looking at the exp drop the major drops seems to be 60-65, 70-75 exp needed is almost the same as before with only 2-3k shaved off at most (from what i remember of the lists) so it'll stil be a slug to get to lvl75 after you con lvl70, so it not all bad news for the 'hardcore players' you can keep your L33t status!

Plus i really like the look of that ENM lvl 60 solo battle, i hoping it a taylor made fight against your job much like the Maat fight. But this will need me beating CoP mission 1,2 and 3 ><

So in total 124k in exp is gone, not exactly the 200k touted earlier, 70+ see the little changes, while 60-69 see the biggest.

Been thinking about the RDM AF1 NM. I'm thinking that it will be a similar level to De'Vyu Headhunter in Beadeaux due to the similarities in the Zone, position, surrounding mobs etc. The second time we did De'Vyu was me (RDM), Darwock (BLM), Tsing (PLD) and Hicory (WHM). I think if we can get a similar line up tonight we should be in reasonable shape. Will have to ask on ArchAngels or MV if nobody else from Rargh can help.

Darwock, what do you think about subbing SMN and letting Carby pull the NM to a safe spot (there is an area leading to a well that looks ideal)? This will prevent links if the surrounding Orcs respawn.

If the NM is already spawned (as it was last night) we may only have to kill 1-2 EP Orcs before being able to pull the NM - If not then it will be 4-5...

Now the update is giving problems, I'm getting connectio problems, as is a lot of people.They say they're trying to solve the problem...
DO we get discounts or something for all the recent down time?
