Main reason is your lack of involvement in most if not all LS activities unless it serves you, specially being you have a suitably powerful 70+ blm, unsurprisingly people are unwilling to help people who maybe wrongfully a kind of ?misunderstood selfishness? to put it nicely.

Has some quote goes, ?do on to others, as they would on to you?

Sorry I was keeping my head down, dodging buns.

I should be around tonight, but will confirm for definite later this afternoon. Have a hospital appointment in a few hours and I'm not sure how I'm going to feel when I come out the other side of it.

Removing my fists from around his windpipe is possibly more time critical.

I'll be good tonight, look forward to bringing down Ouryu.

As for your comments Daragon they are valid though i have never intentionally given anyone bar gil sellers the wrong info. I would like to explain from my point of view and also say I'm prepared to wipe the slate clean and start over.

My major issues are 3 prime things with how you use the LS

              1) You rarely research anything, you relly on the LS to inform you of everything that needs to be done for any mission or quest. I don't mind filling in gaps but I like people to have done as much as they can first before I help them. Hence if I don't feel thats the case I don't help, thats not just you it applies to everyone.

              2) You rarely, if ever, help other LS members with their requirements. Of every drop I have been to for other LS members you have not been there (the latest I can think of is the rutter NM where you agreed to come then xped instead). The only times you attend is if you feel you can gain something, a prime example is the garrison events people were asked to choose either melee or mage to lot and lot on only one, you lotted both and all the mannequin parts. To me the LS is about helping each other to achieve more, I like to see that from others as well. For example I can not think of a single run no matter how ill thought out or suicidal that I've not seen Tobal at.

              3) The attitude shown when new players ask question is not helpful, we have some new low level members and they may beleive a 70 if they tell them there is no hope. That is clear misinformation being given and we have to stop what we're doing ot correct it. For example crafting is still profitable even pre 30, farming is a good gil maker if done right and BCNMs are definitely more than luck. This point applies to others as well not just you, there is more that one way to do things in this game lets try to be positive and supportive not if you don't do it my way U R 5UX0RZ.

I hope this is fair, I can only say it my perception which does not make it a reality however for me it is. Like I say I'm happy to say the past is goen and from here we all pull together and make this LS what it should be.

The best players helping each other to achieve their goals in a mutually respectful and suportive environment.

I hope this is the vision everyone else has, we're all capable, we're all adults (or at least behave that way), lets make it an LS we're all proud of. That I'm aware that of late I have considered leaving as I no longer find Rargh to be the place I hoped it would be is enough to make me say this in the hope we can change it.

I had a feeling Blue Mage was going to be good, but S-E just made them sound totally badass.

Indeed, Blue Mage is sounding very interesting, im planning to choose one of the new jobs to level but im undecided so far, awaiting information on the other new jobs now.

I really like the way they did the write up of the history of the job. Would be cool if S-E looked at the existing jobs and wrote similar articles retrospectively.

Excuse me? Never partaking in Linkshell events? Only helping out when it suits me to do so? I think you have your wires crossed somewhere Tobal - My problem is that I never have opportunity half the time to help out, simply because the opportunity doesn't present itself. Ok, so I missed out on the first Rutter Sabaton run when I said I'd join, I consistently apologised for that - the party I was in at the time was a more than capable manaburn and I made the 13k I needed to hit 70 in little more than 2 hours.

I've helped out on countless AF runs, ENMs, missions - I've lent out gear, I've joined parties to level up jobs at 30 even though I didn't have any intention of using the job past 30. The phrase "Do unto others" is indeed an accurate one, thats why I have people like Mosley and Rabs who are more than willing to help out both of whom I am extremely grateful to - especially to Rabs, its not easy to get a DRK who HASN'T beaten Diabolos at the best of times.

I'm not a fan of your rather unfair evaluation of me Tobal and I hope in the future, I can manage to put your "concerns" to bed.

Indeed, I would like to state on the record Daragon has lent me gear on numerous occassions for THF30 that allowed me to partake in ENM battles hat I would not have been able to do as THF and must say I am exremely grateful for that.

Also, Daragon did attend the Carmine Dobsonflies run when we were desperate for sleepers and from what a LS member told me (I never noticed amidst the carnage myself) did a mighty fine job at it.

Now that's not to say I think Daragon ( or anyone else) is faultless (he'd be the first to admit we have a 'testy' LS friendship) but to say he never helps is a little unfair.

It is my experience with life and people in particular that you reap what you sow. Unfortunately life isn't fair - it should be, but it isn't. The world doesn't owe you anything either, no matter how hard you work or what you sacrifice for it - it'll still deal you a bum hand next round if it so desires and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Most human society operates on a system of straightforward reciprosity. Its probably possible to see that as either completely cynical, or completely fair, dependent on your point of view. The only suggestion I can make, if you are feeling that you are not receiving the support or input you feel you deserve given what you have invested, is to stop investing it. People who do not appreciate what you have to give do not deserve to keep receiving it. If you ponder this philosophy a little, it may be of benefit on several levels - both in understanding how this situation might have developed and in determining a way forward.

Have a think, and see what you make of it.

That actually makes a lot of sense and accurately reflects my own feelings last weekend over something that happened.
