Yeah my target is rank 10 all rations, I'm rank 6 in Bastok and Windy and just about rank 8 in Sandy. Its the reason I have no Outpost warps as I keep changing nations.

Yeah, had a great Saturday Exp session which saw me 7k into Lv69. Last night there was nothing going down. No invites, not enough folks looking.

Friday was interesting, was about to log after Assault and got a /tell to join the party Yen was in at Caedarva Mire so after saying I could only do an hour or two I headed off to join them. It was the first time I had Exp'd in the zone and it didn't go so well. Firstly the camp was in a dangerous location with multiple Imp pops near by and dispite Yen's repeated asks, the leader wouldn't move us. We did deal fairly well with the links we had but I had one death after a multiple link when I didn't know what the hell was going on ~ I do like a Zone shout from the leader if they want us to zone /sigh. After a double pull, more party death and a zone I raised the dead members then left when the original RDM returned. I did the healer / refresher role as well as I could but came away feeling like I had underperformed. Maybe it will go down as a learning experience for a new zone but I felt like a bit of a noob and don't think I left a positive impression on Yen (first time I have met him and him being a RDM75 and all).

I am going away on Firday AM for a week so anything planned with my inclusion will need to be up to this Thursday (24th) or from the 1st September. I hope to have Lv70 and a buffer within the first couple of days back so next CoP may be good for the Sunday 3rd?

Oh and one last plea, can I get some help to clear Sandy 7-2, so far tried shouting 2 or 3 times and no responses.

I can help you with this Tsing. I actually think we could complete this with less than 6 people, but we'll need a sleeper. Maybe Wedge or Elite could help us.

I've progressed to the battle in ToAU story now. After attempting to solo the first

NM unsuccessfully, me and Tsing were able to defeat it as a duo without any major concerns.

Also on Saturday I was passing the graveyard to witness a japanese WHM/NIN attempting to solo this NM. I watched on but it was clear he wasn't going to be able to manage and with his MP at about 33% he sent me an invite and I joined up. I attempted to Provoke but his use of Flash 4 times and plentiful cures meant his enmity was through the roof and I could only watch as the Tarutaru was finished off and the Jazaraat turned his attention to me. Luckily the WHM had Reraise and got up to support me in the fight and once again I was part of a duo battle of this NM. Language differences weren't able to hide the Taru's appreciation and I bid him farewell.

He did offer a trade which I opened expecting maybe a few Shihei to make up the ones I had used but 50000 gil was the offer. I declined. As Tsing, a merc's life isn't for me. I wouldn't have been much of a community member had I walked past watching a fellow player who seems to have the same standard of play as myself (attempting to solo NMs) and not helped should he need it. I certainly didn't do it expecting payment.

After this I was directed by Naja to take my ghost stories elsewhere and gave me a lead that took me to Dvucca Isle. Headed over there on Saturday morning. Felt I was heading in the right direction when I came across these guarding an entrance to Arrapago Reef:



Once inside had to battle a few of the locals:





And eventually found my target. What followed was a simply incredible cutscene after which I had the option to start the mission battle (I chickened out). But I'm ready and eager to sort this.

Saturday me and daragon helped a few more LS members get Sky with my cleanest run yet at tanking ZM8 (was flawless). Now have a few more people up to the Ark Angels fight and I know I have spoken with some people already who are interested in battling the Ark Angels individually. basically just a DD/support (i.e. BRD or RDM) down (Wedge will come as BST or BRD depending what the 6th job is).

Yesterday me and Wedge spent a lot of time in Sky along with Beregorn who joined us for some of it.

Foudn ourselves in the Ve'Lugannon Palace which appears to be reside underneath Ru'Aun Gardens:



We battled Mystic Weapons (which ranged from Decent Challenge to Tough for a lvl75 hoping to get Coffer Keys.



Got the first key on our second kill but a second wasn't forthcoming and I won with a 700+ lot. Wedge and Bere went back out to duo in Ru'Aun for Bere's coffer key whilst I hunted for the coffer in the palace. Was extremely complicated zone but after using a stack of Silent Oil the map was mine. I'm pretty certain that was the final coffer map I needed just a few more quest maps to find and those I don't yet have access to.

This morning had an awesome Besieged with level 5 Mamool Ja Savages followed by level 5 Troll Mercenaries. Me, Moot (as BLU39) and Caladbolg teamed up.



I really felt like I was doing well as a DD. Whether it's the katana merits making the difference I'm unsure but the whiff fests of the past have gone. Also caught my first glance at the new Mega Boss NMs and they look superb.







Sadly my contribution was ended prematurely by a combination of lag and what I hope was misguided attempts of another player to help.

Nice rare, thats all wicked. I really should take some more pictures. I kick myself somtimes when i dont. Gutted i dont think i took any on ZM8 or the TAoU NM.

We really all should take more pics, dunno if its just me but i really enjoy looking though posts like that last one of rares and reading the stories.

While on the subject of CoP, my current mission requires me to face off against a golem NM at Pso Xja for 5-1 I think it is. This part of the chapter doesn't require people to have cleared it or have reached it to access, but the mob cannot be soloed due to its 3500 hp and 100 hp/sec regen. Once thats done, I should have access to promyvion-Vhazl give or take a CS or 2 so it would be likely easier for me to find a group for that

I've tried shouting for help with it but noone out there seems to need it at the same time I do, so if anyone could help out that would be great. A party of 70+ will have no problems with it apparently.

I dont mind helpin Dara, im not up to that yet im still on Chapter 2-3: Distant Beliefs but will still help, kupo still needs the promies. Wasnt there talk of a static like what we have done with ZM?

I still have my gear for promies action, as im going to be lvlin war to 37 very shortley so why i still have it would be good if we could start a static as then i could sell for 40 gear for the next steps.

There's already 2 LS CoP groups, but if we get a 3rd static for CoP going, I don't mind backtracking over missions I've cleared as I only ever seem to progress at a rate of about 1 mission per two months or there abouts or when I'm fortunate enough to catch someone doing a shout for the mission I'm on.

Something I meant to mention yesterday regards to the 2 level 5 Besiegeds was that from the start we only had 2 generals. Despite this both level 5 battles were won and neither general was lost.

I put this down to the japanese primetime effect as everything seemed much more organised. For example, they had mages dedicated to battling the flans and set the melee on the trolls etc.

However last night our NA brethren put on quite a display when we had 3 level 5 Besiegeds in a row. Still with only 2 generals at the start, it was opened with a battle against the Undead Swarm. And I'll be honest I thought we were going to lose. People tried but the constant AOE attacks were very powerful and we lost another general. I even managed to catch sight of the Mega Boss:




But by some miracle we won. This was immediately followed by Mamool Ja Savages. I'd have thought spirits would be low but people kept battling and co-operating, but alas the final general fell and the Hall of Binding was opened and was descended upon.



I bailed at this point (see later) but again Seraph stood strong and was successful in defending the Astral Candesence and forced the Mamool Ja to retreat. I didn't keep track of the Troll Mercenaries battle but I hear that again we defended the Candesence (despite the lack of generals) which is testament to our server.

As I said I left towards the end of the Mamool Ja fight as a friend was in Riverne Site #0B and Boroka was up and unclaimed. People on the LS were all busy but she had a friend with her and offered to attempt to trio it and if H. Kote dropped said I could have. It was too good an offer to refuse so I geared up and headed over. Our setup was NIN, BRD and WHM although I stupidly forgot my elemental ninjutsu tools. It was a long fight with one nasty moment when I got hit with a 600+ Hoof Volley which apparently resets hate, so the BRD died. However, he reraised and continued on and eventually after a hard fought battle we were victorious.




Sadly our only drop was a Skulker's Cape but was a great test and fun battle. Plus I have a snazzy Boroka Beleaguerer title plus a ToD.

Going to be doing the NA dynamis tonight meaning 12:30am start hoping the sam relic legs drop after getting my last piece 4 months ago(would make me 4/5 pieces)? good job I have a week off work starting tomorrow couldn?t be bothered to turn it on yesterday and went back playing PDZ online, and playing a bit of Graw offline mission mode and shed load of anime I haven?t watched.
