Pushed onto CoP 8-2 this weeekend with Dara, w00t. Few ups and downs for me this weekend i died alot >< Gonna update the blog as its not been updated for a age and i have lots and lots of pics to post. Really glad though im sooo close to a Raja's!

Really want to get it finished soon so I can have ago at the mighty Bahamut!!! The rewards from that are very nice to go with the Raja's and my ZM earring!

Finally managed to get full fomor hate as well yesterday even though it included a death. Lets hope i get the swift belt drop tonite!!

I may not be arround much in the next few months. I've just started FFXII which is astonishingly good and with Zelda coming at the beginning of December and a few other distractions as well, it isn't going to leave much time for FFXI.

Just managed to get in some partying on Hicory at the weekend, for the first time since switching to the JP client. Hard work but I could do most things - only spotting the enfeebs from the mob onto party members was really tough, and I was starting to spot some of them by the end of the session.

Am so horribly far behind everyone else its unreal, and realised at the weekend when I get WHM to 62 I'll need to stop and re-level BLM for my sub (hate it) ... but there's lots more to do and I had always planned to take a break from levelling WHM when I got to 60, to raise RDM to 60 and get some levels in on SMN, BRD and BST. Will probably take a look at BLU too, even though the cutscenes or quest info will be hell in Japanese.

Won't be the same without you ... but I hope you have fun with FFXII, and given your recommendation I will take a look myself too!


Oooh and ... congrats to Mr Tickle on CoP 8-2!

LOL i was AFK lol i had been doing a Swift Belt run (Cap 50) and as I had to go AFK they D2'd me and I ended up there ><

The AaD Belt run went 0/11 sigh.... but Codex's seem to drop pretty easy as i picked up a spare one. I know Dara and Kerushi are interested in it still so was thinking about organising a Rargh run if anyones up for it?

On another note another very late night for me and dara but we finished CoP 8-2, damm that mission is enough to make anyone not want to carry on ><

I actually enjoyed 8-2, made a pleasant change from stupidly annoying BCs and apart from our MNK reactivating the useless orb thing prematurely, forcing us to run like headless chickens after it only to watch it die from waterga III it was quite a successful run. Good thing Cy knew what he was doing.

Of course, 8-3 combines the two - tower trekking and stupidly annoying BC -_-

yeah Cy is awsome, hes in Kerushi's other linkshell. Hes gonna help all the way to CoP clear too. Also with us making friends with Ran thats 4 of us ready to blast the last 2 missions.

He was in one of ml LSs Known as the Serpha Syndicate but thats more or less dead. I havent been having much luck with CoP ... last night 3 of us tried to finish 2-3 ... we made it past the minator, up n down up n down, to the iron gate, managed to get past the stegators and in to the library where my partner got beat down by formors and i got stranded in to a room that I cannot get outa ...

TBH a lot of the hard work was done about 6 months ago, with help from lots of Rargh people back then too. I have all the pieces now but I can't yet wear them ... am looking forward to posting a screenshot of the whole outfit though

Think I will have to keep an eye out for the next batch of people doing CoP ... Hic is on 4-2 and Chakmool hasn't started it yet (highest job is THF 20). When I have Hic to 60 I might go and get Chakmool's THF up to 30 so I can get her started on CoP. Will be looking to open up SAM, NIN and RNG on her too.

I know theres lots of people in the LS that need 4-2 hic, speak with Rare think he had a grp pretty much up to that stage, not sure why they didnt continue.

Although I wouldnt mind taking on that BC again, its been one of the hardest so far in CoP for me.

Well another step forward in Dynamis last night - Valor Gauntlets are mine!

Slowly getting there and thats another 60k back from being able to sell my adaman Gauntlets.

Ended up doing 8-3 yesterday, but we didnt clear the Pot BC sadley as we got up to it people had to leave and we were not really prepaired for it. We had a quick go but failed as we fought the small pot far to close to its starting point. So thats the plan for tonite!

Then last up the final fight ^^ Raja's Yes, Please.
