Yup good night last night I'm down to 1 x CS and 1 x SL to clear and then just the FL after I complete the rank up. Been a while since I posted here so I've also

got to 5/7 on the anoying get the picture quest
completed my HP merits
got to 50% meritted on sword (120k to go before starting the other category)
levelled BRD to 17
levelled DRK to 10
Got to no 1 in the Dynacore queue for valor legs if I can ever make a glacier run with them
Picked up my Crimson hands for RDM just Crimson legs and I have all my sky kit, might get zenith for convert

Think thats about it, oh and got to 3500/10000 on the lu shang!

Fishing = 33 ^^

Hope everyone is well and all that, anyone still need the bowyer ring BC? I'm looking at wrapping up the remaining quests I have. Also looking of interest in clearing the escourt quests in the cities.

Bowyer Ring increases Ranged Attack and Ranged Accuracy right?

Rare and I tried to get it, but for some reason I couldn't get the quest from Ayame. I wonder if my Basktok fame is too low?

Anyway, if I can figure out how to get the quest, I'd be up for it, as that ring would be useful if we ever do Promyvion again.

You only need rank 3 fame for Bastok to start mate, if you've done only a few quests there previously you should have enough. But to start the quest series that's the only requirement.

Each subsequent quest requires 1 higher rank.

Im mostly 360ing these days, just generally keeping up with all the new releases. also spending a fair bit of time playing through the new Settlers game on pc.

I know you sent me an invite for Halo 3 at some point last week, I would have joined but I was glued to Sega Rally at the time.

Right now I have sold off most my 360 games in preperation for the new releases, will likely be getting most online multiplayer games so will definetely be up for some games.

Been far too long since ive played FF. 8 months and Counting

First I want to appolgise to the LS..moot..and you guys..i left without a word halfway through us doing COP..I'm sorry..I hope you found a rep for me...

Basically, I quit my job..and the money to play FF ran out. I had to really budget and luxuries such as FF had to go unfortunately.

But, things are looking up...and seeing the new expansion comming next month.... well... I can't stay away any longer i really have been missing FF this past month

Thanks guys, cant wait, though knowing my luck it wont accept my new credit card when it arrives next week but heres hoping! And assuming my char hasnt been deleted... but i think its saved for at least a year so should be ok...

Subjob items? Oh well. Raincheque? lol. I really can't remember. going to take me days to remember how to play the game again , so i think a few solos on some easy prey stuff till i get the hang of it all again.

I know i missed alot...its probably going to take a day to download all the updates since Feb...i can log into the playonline and download the latest viewer thing but cant update the game code..have to wait till my account payment is done again for that. But have reasonable broadband so should only take an hour or two (im assuming by reading the forums theres been a few new things added like the coluseum and Pit.)

Probably going to have to put some serious work into the game again to catch up with everyone my equip is probably crap now what with all the new ENM in aht urgan and assualt equip.

Just reading back through the forums here...as For Warcraft... it tried it on a free trial for a couple of weeks, got a char to 20. But didnt really like it. The graphics far too comicy and cartoonish..and most of the time it felt like i was playing an offline console game.. having been so used to teamwork in dyna and sky and the like with everyone having roles and complimenting the groups... well WOW to me just felt like a solo game. I know i cant judge it as only saw 1% of the game getting to 20... but i had more fun (and death) getting to 20 in FF in any job than i did with WOW.

I think for me FF is about teamwork. I met a few friends over in WOW and hearing them say they solod most of the way to end level 70 just made me cringe. FF is about groups, parties, teamwork..if i wanted to solo i'd have been a BST.

I wont go back there. Besides 2 years in FF all that hard work is far too much to just throw away and start again in WOW. My two cents for WOW.

Finally after just under a year with AngelsAndDemons Crimson Cuisses are mine just need to uncurse the item today. Was toying with getting HQ but no real value to it so I think I'll save myself the 1.7 million on those

WoW is nothing but teamwork. 40-man heroic raids? There are still quite a few dungeons on our realm left uncompleted, and some long standing endgame guilds are breaking up over the apparent lack of skill/teamwork/gear/success. So far WoW pretty much offers me the most intense online action possible, moreso than Halo or anything like that even. If Halo3 hasn't pulled me away it's unlikely anything ever will.

Or you can solo your exp and spend 8x as long doing so getting crap rewards along the way, solo-questing is only any use for faction reputation, pretty much the same as FFXI. Yep, you solo to lvl70, missing out all the (only) decent gear drops/rewards, you also then realise you suck in party situations through not having a clue about tanking/off-tanking/crowd control timings/aggro distribution etc.

Yeah, you can spot the people that have solo'd to lvl70 a mile off. Especially when they go down from 2/3 shadowbolts from a lvl60. ;p

I suppose I've been lucky in having 10/11 other real life mates start at the same time (with more and more joining), so we've always levelled together and been able to go for the lucrative drops from challenging bosses. I get really pissed off with a lot of the random people on my realm though, they come to dungeon raids without resistance potions etc. and then complain about damage. FFS alchemy exists for a reason. My guild are pretty much almost suited for 10-man raiding now (once we hit 70), although we need to be able to expand up to the 40-man mark by next year, and finding people capable enough is the real challenge.

...And then you have the ultra-elusive epic sets of arena gear. If your teams aren't rated in the top 20 over the entire battlegroup (1 battlegroup (PvP matching) = 7 or 8 servers) you might as well say goodbye to ever owning an entire set
