Indeed that was the plan, however real life managed to get in the way - found myself unexpectedly unemployed and with no tenants to pay off my mortgage in the UK.. I was literally about one week away from spending all my savings on a nice new computer - good job I didn't!

Got a job again and my bank account is slowly recovering - but it seems like by the time I get round to getting online there won't be anybody I know still in the game!

Rargh really has been dead lately, myself, i joined TheIrreplacable with Lutann and joined in a new Limbus shell. A nice change and really enjoying it after having months of nothing to do ingame.

Also isn't about time the next lot of Wings content was due?

As Tsing said we thought TheIrreplaceable had turned into a social we had members applying to us sayin that it was dead. We are running in our strongest numbers for a while atm even gettin an alliance on trigger days which is always good. We are doin alot of rdm/nin stuff atm and lookin to start stright tankin kirin XD

I got a /tell from Fiss yesterday askin meh if i wanted to try and duo the Ugg pendant NM i was like eh its a x2 party job aint it? Anyways it ended up with Me (Rdm/blm), Fiss (Rdm/nin) and Missy (blm/whm) going for the pop with later Monkee (rdm/nin) helpin out. When we got there Calta and Iorika were they rdm/nin and blm/nin duoing it lol Ior was dual boxing thou on a 75 thf (yukki) to kill the 1 add that pops at the bottom on the stairs.

So we watched them and they handled it np in about 45mins. With only 1 person gettin caust by sleepga and ga.

So next up we pop and all it going well, we won in about 40mins with only 2 deaths on our 1st go But as we saw a rdm and a blm could solo that easy if they have done before and make sure u run out of range for his spells.

On another note ive taken up the "Black Mage" and hit 41 its alot like rdm without bein a refresh whore but very usefull in end game so gonna take it to 75.

You got your Joyeuse yet, or are you going to blackmail some guys in AnD to camp it with you? (on second thoughts don't tell me, it will only make me think of my own dire situation and possibly cause me to resent you slightly lol)

Yup things are ace online, AaD is moving forward again now thanks in the main to DJ my paly time has been way down recently. I too am about to take up BLM to 75 and with that in mind payed a call to the QS caves last night and went 1/1 on the cloak.

The uggy Pendant I've dine before with 4 using SMNs, RDM and a kite but yes its easily doable with low numbers. We need to go play with some new things thogh I really think we need to get these bad boys in

Not seen The Irreplacable in sky for ages not since they jammed up kirin for the entire night with their 5 hour kirin or something obscene. Good to hear they're still alive though. We're not back on Kirin that well yet still at 90 mins ish but for 20 no that bad. No TCO mind they kill in circa 5 mins lol, SoU picked up 3 wyrmal legs the other day as well on 4 runs.

One other peice of news from me almost capped my enfeebling magic merits at 7/8 now then its time to start elemental magic and ice / wind acc in group 1s ^^

As an aside worked out Charybdis now can pretty much solo on RDM though its easier with a partner. Made my first solo kill on Amikiri as well a few days back but no drops worth talking about, might try again later.

For me, it's been a mixed bag in terms of achievements over the past few days. Started back up RNG and it's now sitting comfortably at 65 - 75 is this week's goal (although 70 is looking alot more realistic). Once I have that accomplished, I plan to take a few NM excursions with my super fast Loxley bow before restarting RDM, taking that from 62 to 75 and hopefully with a little help *cough* obtain a Joyeuse of my own in the process.

On the flip side, last night's Kirin run with Midgard turned into a trigger fest which saw us wipe on Steam Cleaner, before managing to obtain Despot only to watch another LS steal it from us when it killed most of us and the BST in the group lost hate. Thankfully we managed to turn the latter around after watching it kill the thieving ****s, but the whole sordid experience has left my BLM without 75 once again, and with no WHM on duty, I've got the equivalent of a bad exp party's worth of debt I need to pay off

I don't know how you manage it dara I'm still to delevel to 74 since I dinged 75 a couple of years back now!

Think in all porbablity DJ we're the only Euro LS at strength now not seen any of the others in action in months. See more of CelestialUnion than Midgard or the other one.

To be fair, comparing a BLM's defense to a PLD's is like comparing someone leaving a tap running to a tidal wave. A gentle breeze would probably be enough to KO my BLM I die too frequently, and a WHM is something we don't seem to benefit much from in Midgard as of late. I have been discussing with Dj over the past couple of days in regards to rejoining AnD, not only as you don't seem to be short on numbers or the fact that you seem to get more land HNMs done, but also as you've got a good proportion of Rargh members in there now anyway (not to mention the fact that the reasons I originally jumped ship are no longer around).

The only way you would win that would be to be kiting him up near the entrance. AoE to nasty.

It wasn't the AOE that got us, the vast majority of the party were too concerned with SC that they failed to realise that the detector which was still alive wouldn't stop spawning dolls. Despite my best efforts to sleep the mobs, the only real purpose my magic served was to piss off said dolls, resulting in me taking a nap of my own lol.

I know this may sound odd but don't your BLMs kill the detectors ours do, 1 Tier II and its out of there.

Yup as soon as its up 1st thing a blm should do it pwn the Detector. Or even a DD kill it fast. SAM or DRG have no probs.

We kill them if we see that the NM has spawned lol. In my defense yes, I do realise the detectors are meant to die, my problem usually is that I'm a bit too eager and end up killing them before the NM spawns as opposed to after.
