all i've been doing is leveling smn, and for the last 4 days just logging and botting smn magic to skill up... just so little to interest me right now im just hanging on to whatever that annouce at vannafest as my take on to keep subbing.. VNM is a piece of **** that needs to die, no stragety just pop meds, whack for weakness, pop meds, get logs and ore, stopped getting clearances around Jeuno T3 then just did randam public shouts so see if the time scale on getting plates would be... 3 plates in 25 runs.. **** that. WoE is still zombie-ridden wank pile with piss poor drops and only viable weekend mornings with long downtimes between bouts.

not bothered with new nyzul yet, and dynamis is chore.

Ambition is doin VW clears from start to finish if you wanna clear it up. Did sandy last night and will continue this week, doing Mon > Thur.

Bought a NQ behe trigger for 900k and got the HQ trigger -

Killed KB last night and this happened..... 1/1!



Also did Nid and got E and M body.



Need to find a HQ M body now.

Canceled my second character and all my mules in the last week, just Tobal left.. going hang around to pick up my AA weapon in the lotto(if its a rank5 statue replacement which is looks like it is). Given up on smn at lvl 76, to much specialised gear to get that i can't swap in off rdm,whm or blm.. and im just sick to death of seals followed by stones process and VW pop luck.

Tickles if you still doing VW clears its about the only thing i can be bothered to do now as i hear it has story elements to do with the mother crystal in the intro CGI and i would at least like to fight the crystal dragon/Watcher boss at least once. Apart from that im leveling drg now

I think alot of these changes have ripped the soul from the game and it seems to be a popular opinion amongst others too. Do you still get exp parties in the starter areas or is everything Abyssea based now?

It's just not the game I fell in love with anymore. It's not even close to being the same.

I think SE have gone with the approach that it has that much end game content now that they have just made it really easy to level up. I mean you can go from 30-99 in 6-10hrs easy. Lacking skills though!

Surprising enough introducing Abyssea and all the low man content has killed it, much more than I thought it ever would. It was always a complaint that oh i wish i could do that by myself and yet you had to wait till all you LS logged in to do it.

Now its just shouts in jeuno and random fail pickups.

Trusty LS's need to make a comeback!!

Once they turn it off I think its the end of MMOs for me, cant see myself starting 14 even when V2 comes out. Must be getting old when 10mins on a 360 shooter is enough to sort out my needs nowadays.

i would say for new person it actually harder to hit 99 than ever, sure it faster but unless you know people who will allow you to leech exp you won't be leveling any time soon, breaking level caps sucks ass and leeching and keying in abyess is not fun. You can solo pretty well now with the speed old ffxi party pre-exp band and toau do but exp parties in general don't exist unless you get a bunch of mates together.

****ed up my pc last week, still not reinstall 11, don't think i can be bothered after seeing that roadmap, the game is being dragged by the neck drip feeding ****ty grinding unrewarding wank like legion and Voidwatch, while retouching old end game events but getting it completely wrong after doing ok with dynamis rework.

Abyssea was ment to be swan song catering to low subs, but 14 failure messed that up so all it ended up doing was killing off exp parties and Linkshells, while inthe increase in player power fully killed the skillchaining/magic burst(it was zombing at that point anyway) and hate mechanics.

even with all my moaning, i broke and started reinstalling it as i type.... if only SE would pass the game on to some devs that want to work on it but if that ever did happen the 11 players would never join 14.2..

I think one fix that would solve alot of 11 problems that would bring back to its old flavor would be to lock Abyssea out till you hit 75, would bring back exp parties and with the new exp gain rates and FoV/GoV there are alot more, lot more places to exp.

Yeah locking it out would be a nice idea, but I feel its to late for it to happen now.

Has anyone any EU ffxi codes they would sell on for a few quid? I know some of you bought EU disks but used NA codes, so would be cool as it seems to be ?20 + everywhere atm.
