From a purely selfish point of view I'd prefer whichever one is best at holding hate - pretty sure that'll be paladin? It's just if the Wreaker starts dashing around there's a good chance my blood pacts will miss the mark. It's what I'm most concerned about.

Not too bad but the whole Qufim / Jungle thing is slow going. Played last night from 7.30 to 11 and i'm now 27 +1500exp. I know Darwock is just behind that having not had a chance to play last night. So, what we are talking about it 3 levels (need 30 +1000 I think) plus farming for Hysteroanima in 3 evenings. I think it's going to be tight but there is still a chance if partying goes well (will be heading to Yhoator tonight). Friday is out for me due to beer related fun in the real world but if we miss Thursday then anytime after Friday will be good with me.

I'll give you a shout tomorrow (or later if your on) by which time i'll have a better idea about what can be achieved this week.

As for what holds hate best. At level 30 I think a WAR/nin would hold hate much better than a PLD/war. The pure damage output of dual-wield axes will generate fantastic amounts of hate. Both PLD and NIN don?t get to really distinguish themselves as tanks until they get certain key abilities in the high 30s (this also ties in with the point when many PTs, sadly, start to feel WAR is not a viable main tank).

As for what I am up to in game, well, not a lot Really struggling to find some motivation of late to carry on. Logged out in Outer Horototo Ruins with a plan to return for farming and haven?t been on properly for over a week. It?s somewhat ironic that when I ?quit? not long back I couldn?t get it out of mind and had to return. But when I don?t make anything final I can be offline for ages without even giving it a thought (although I will concede that on my lunch today my mind wandered and for a moment I considered levelling my THF).

Could also be just that there are some wicked games out right now (Tekken 5 is ****ing awesome)

Finished up 140 points off level 29 last night, so I'm right back on track for getting 30 tonight. Levelling something other than black mage for a change has presented me with 2 unique situations:

1. I'd never heard the battle music on Elshimo before! I didn't know it was different, lol.

2. I have no idea how to get out of Yhoator jungle and back to Kazham without getting killed. How do most people with non-warp/sneak capable jobs manage it?

It would seem you have the following options:

1. Hope there is a BLM with Warp II in the area!

2. Wait for me to get to 30 and come back and Invis us.

3. Death Warp...

I'm fairly sure Tobal's suggestion would equal number 3 from Talizker's list in my case, lol.

I wish I'd thought about this before and brough a scroll of instant warp with me. Talizker I'll probably take you up on your offer, I just hope the timing works out.

It just easier to make sure you carry a stack of prism's and silent oils where ever you go, it'll save ur skin.

Well, you should have 30 +buffer at the end of tonight. I likely won't and will have to come back tomorrow. If all goes to plan i'll Warp back at the end of play come back as RDM, take you out then go back ready for my final stint tomorrow.

Thanks mate, but if it eats into time when you could be gaining xp rather than baby-sitting me, then I don't want you to do that. I'll just log off there and wait for tomorrow if that's what it takes.
