Final Fantasy XI Then...

First of all {Congratulations} to everyone who was on the ZM4 run last night! It wasn't easy to watch let alone take part in so well done!!

Now, I harvested my tree sapling on Saturday but it only turned up seven platinum leaves, so levelling Ninja to ten for a Mannequin Body BCNM has taken on greater urgency. Talizker - you interested in doing one of these BCNMs towards the weekend? Currently my NIN is level 7 so I'm hoping to get to 10 during the evenings this week.

Hicory is now 44 on WHM so I'll be looking at getting my Mission 5-1 completed soon too . Tsing has said he will tank if I can find a MNK. Am going to keep an eye out for Akashi and sweet talk him as best I can - doubt anyone will have time until next weekend, but that's cool.

Also I really need to get Chakmool moving again soon. She's stuck in Bastok right now 'cause I still want to use her for that two hour mining experiment, but I don't have the money to buy the mining gear for her just yet so I'm working on getting some money back out of smithing. She needs to kill the 2-3 dragon too (which Menion needs too) so hopefully we can sort that out as an LS. As soon as I've got her to rank 3 and 20 smithing (just a case of doing some more Iron Ingots which are profit making anyway) and done the mining experiment she'll be headed to Jeuno for the Chocobo quest and levelling to 25 in Qufim. After that she'll need the Khazam airship pass. Its just needs needs needs for her right now, which is probably why she's been idle for the last two months.

Last but not least, the website is still progressing. Have now done the composite image for the "What Is Rargh" page - unfortunately couldn't fit everyone in as the linkshell is getting rather large now but I think most of the oldest members are there somewhere. Before long I'll be putting up a "member profile" section then you'll all be able to send in an image and your info and you'll have a page all to yourself listing your job levels, missions etc and most importantly the objectives you currently have in the game. These will be linked where applicable to other sections (member directory by job or craft, current campaigns for events like zilart and CoP) so hopefully it'll be easier to organise events and see what everyone needs to get done. I will post the site in /lsmes when the site is ready for us to start posting these profiles up!

Was going to suggest starting with what is described as the hardest of the ZM5 NMs out in the sanctuary of Zi'Tah. Was thinking of pencilling in one night this week though I should have a better idea of when tomorrow. As far as I know you can take an alliance to these so was going to suggest getting everyone that wants to come from the LS plus put out a shout in Jeuno for any extra hands.

After that head out and go wipe it out hopefully, if there time after head to Behemonths Dominion for that one there as its a short travel time. Idea is to combine one long distance one with one short one if we can, all depends on how long it takes. Theoretically (and yes the theories are always right honest) if we were to start at 21:00 get to Zi'Tah for 22:00 kill the NM by 22:30 all warp back and run out to behemoths dominion for 23:00 kill that NM by 23:30 we should be good. However I think the plan has to be to do one and do the other if our lucks in as it may be over ambitious.

As far as I know there are Mosley, Rarehero, Lewis, Kerushi, Tsingtao, Darwock and Talizker needing these plus an offer of help from Tobal. If we're in luck we may be able to get a few others as well.

Only plan this week (other than the above) is a decent evenings exp as I need a buffer on Lv60. Leveled down to Lv59 after last night death only to get Lv60 back by 180exp from ReRaise =D

I can help escort your char to jeuno, get the airship pass keys and help with your 2-3 run hicory ^^ do those all the time for others. I am also willing to join you for 5-1 hicory ^^ ... ill wanna use it a s practice for maat ... hehe.

Ifrits Couldren ZM5 part is defenatly not good ... i already had one run at that headstone wich turned in to 2 deaths for me without acheeving my goal. oh well ... Sancturay of Zi'ta sounds good to me plus i can do a BCNM 20 now ... managed to get 20 seals again ... i can come as a nin, mnk and war for that BCNM ... also wanna do a garrison . if anyone needs help ill probabily be free while im on FFXI ... farming is laborious and a break is always welcome (i will be farming for the next few weeks ... just like tobal but not on the same materials).

Thanks to Talizker and Kerushi for the offers of assistance on Chakmool and Hicory - these are much appreciated! I will post here when I'm ready to take on any of these immanent challenges!

RE the BCNM20, am hoping I can have Ninja ready for Thursday evening, as Tsing and I are both away Friday and Saturday. That said, I didn't manage to get any levels last night as I did some work on the RarghLS website instead. There is now a template for character profiles, so a fully fledged site is moving closer by the day. Tonight is going to be Ninja night, though.

Had my first Lv60 party in a couple of months last night and it was a strange one. We ended up with 2 x RDM's and no BLM, the other RDM being two levels higher and not speaking English. Trying to figure out what roles we were doing was tricky and he seemed to want to do all the RDM stuff so I ended up playing as a Gimped BLM for 3 hours. It wasn't overly satisfying seeing that 75% of my nukes were resisted but it was a solid party with a great Ninja / Thief setup and I made 8000 exp which gives me a nice buffer for the next ZM stuff.

Any idea of dates/times for the 1st ZM5 NM or the BCNM20?

I also need to sort out the COP NM's to catch up with you guys. Who else needs these?

Well, fingers crossed I won?t have t go back to Ifrit?s Cauldron any time soon:

(Second) Damp Hakutaku Eye ? check
Fire Fragment ? check

Getting through Ifrit?s Cauldron for the Cermet Headstone was difficult due to the flame spouts but would have been much harder had I gone through with a large group of people. Luckily I went through with 2 other people I knew I could trust and we were able to do the headstone battle once through.

Also, me and Apathye stuck around and decided to fight Dodomekis to try and get my Damp Hakutaku Eye again. Took about an hour but the both of us were far more confident this time round and we basically just cleared the room out including Volcanic Gas, Sulfur Scorpions and the Dodomekis themselves. Took about an hour without any major incidents save from a bomb aggroing Apa during a scorpion fight.

At least now I have all 5 Hakutaku Eyes for a second time and will be making the trade to Bayan tonight who will give me an already made Hakutaku Cluster and will be keeping hold of the 5 separate eyes. Think the plan is to sell them on to any LS members who want them.

Next is the fight but once that is over I hopefully won?t have to visit Den of Rancor in the near future too.
