What you have to take into account, is that the Disc Dr Actually works exactly the same way as a professional disc resurfacer, it just works at a much slower rpm (as your arm is turning the sanding whel as opposed to a motor), hence why you get a "waxed" effect.

But then toothpaste is a great disc resurfacer as using abrasive toothpaste on a wet cloth on scratches can work wonders on CDs.
Although your discs won't look like mirrors, at least there's a chance of them working again.
And to collectors who think lighty damaged discs are worthless, you should shut the **** up, because there are plenty of people out there willing to pay money for a disc with a little light damage.

I'm guessing thats aimed at my comment earlier in the thread? If so...

        1. Can't see the need for the aggressive nature of your post, i was simply stating my opinion. Calm down.

        2. As i've said, it was my opinion. To me (and others too i'm sure), scratched or marked discs / packaging are next to worthless. Sorry if that offends you but its true. If you're happy to buy or collect damaged software then fine, i really honestly hope they make you happy. Its just not for me.

But that's what I'm saying, I mean, look at Jason moor, he values stuff, and it's not stamped WORTHLESS and sold for ?5 if it has a light scratch on it, because there's still plenty of people who want it, therefor, not worthless.

Of course, you're right. But thats why in my original post i wrote "as far as i'm concerned". Everything is worth something to someone, but personally i wouldn't buy a game that was damaged in any way because i wouldn't be happy with it. I would still want another perfect condition copy and therefore the damaged one would have no worth to me.

              BTW. Who's Jason Moor?
