    PAL Sega Saturn release list(s)

    Good evening,

Trawling t'internet, I've managed to find one or two sites with PAL game lists on - the general consensus seems to be that there are 240 PAL releases for the Saturn.

http://www.sega-saturn-museum.co.uk is one of them, but it hasn't been updated for a long while.

Anyone got any others? It'd be nice to have something to aim for (currently just under 100 games in)...

You probably already know this, but if you're a Saturn fan, you really should buy a JP machine. Some of the Saturn's finest only released in Japan.

Lies, all the shooters & fighters are in MAME, or on PSX too, best Saturn stuff is Sega original software, most of which got released on PAL.

      Here's another list http://www.digitpress.com/archives/arc00113.htm

        Radiant Silvergun.

        Try playing that in MAME.

That's dead handy, just what I was looking for. Thanks.

For what it's worth, I've got one of those Action Replay 4M cart things which hasn't let me down yet.

I like to play Saturn games on my Saturns. Weird, I know.

Anyway, I think gamefaqs has a PAL list, but you've probably been there already.

Gamefaqs seems to have the most comprehensive one so far - the general consensus is that there were only 240 PAL games released. I've found that figure quoted in a few places now.

                Cheers all.

How do you do the "all games" list thing on gamefaqs ?, can only see by letter or genre.

                  Thanks.

PS. how do you do it by PAL/JPN/USA also

I wish I had a jap saturn just so i could play dezamon 2. Has anyone played it? I can only begin to imagine how awesome it must be. making my own shooter with the graphical powers of the saturn would be so sweet. I might start a seperate topic on this...

I think your meant to look at an FAQ that someone will have written listing the games.

Just look up FAQs under the system and there should be some lists there (I got an okish japanese list from there)

I can confirm that the list on the museum site is accurate. I helped the guy a bit when he was compiling the list and trying to collect the set. Prices and "rareness" are a couple of years old now though. Pitiful number isn't it.
BTW nitebycandlelight, those carts are decent but remember unless your console is modified they still run everything at 50Hz so a mod is still well worth it.

Ah, excellent Up to 120-odd now. And yeah, 240 is a horrendously pitiful number; even worse is the Dreamcast's 210-odd (I think the most I've found is 213?), which for a machine that deserved so much, is just... well, pants really.

For the amount of import games I have (which is currently a big fat zero), it'll do nicely
