They are more or less the same apart from new soundeffects samples , and Golden Axe also streams the Arcade music off the disc , but there's no 2 player option. Colums features much better music too , but I hate the new sampled sound effects in Revenge of Shinobi more so the laugh of the last boss

As for Golden Axe, I was well annoyed the two mode doesn't work. I believe it does work in the US version of the arcade classic, but the US version was only 4 games in 1 so it's missing Super Monaco GP.

Indeed, I was surprised how poor the MD version of Golden Axe was compared to the Amiga version which was nigh on perfect.

I would have a go on it if my Amiga still worked.
