    Thanks Duddyroar,

I'll be sure to continue the series now I've gotten started. I've already had a casual look at the prices of the games on jap saturn and jap PS1.

I wouldn't know the going rate for it, I just found it in the sales thread on these boards for that price when I did the search.

My decision to buy it was based on the youtube clip on the pc engine bible website. I really liked the music.

The courier didn't make here today to collect my briefcase for it's mod after all, so I spent this evening playing Dracula X.

          It's a right corker!

I can't beleive that I have blindly ignored such a great gaming experience/franchise all this time.

Right from the opening credits, complete with german voice over, to the creaking door when you hit the run button to start the game, and then there's the excellent graphics and amazing music and effects, not to mention cutscenes.

I'm well chuffed with this one.

And SOTN is the definative Castlevania game?

I going to have to experience that too.

I guess I can't miss what i haven't got (the double tap to run), I will be adding SOTN to my wants list.

Just got the one parcel today.

Street Fighter II Champion Edition PCE HuCard

And of course to play it properly, an NEC Avenue Pad 6, this was advertised as second hand but I honestly think it's brand new. The box has a couple of minor dings in it. But the bag inside was sealed with no signs of ever being unstuck and resealed. The pad itself is super clean and appears to still have a layer of cellophane protecting the facia. I haven't attempted to pick at it as I'd like to try and keep it that way.

From what I've #2 & #3 are well worth owning, with #1 being a bit disappointing due it's gameplay, I'm not going to mention graphics as that doesn't really matter to me.

Still yet to experience the games for myself, baseley09 your post has reminded to do so, and I've now added them to my ever increasing shortlist.

Yeah cool, its deffo my fave in the series. I never liked Megaman but this always got me. One is actually pretty cool too if somewhat dated.....the 3rd is quite a spectacle but really too easy to waltz through first go.

Last owned Shub2 maybe 10 yrs ago so im pretty pumped to get it again, love the art too.

Games with playable intros are usually good lol.

Edit again....i cant remeber what it was but i remember doing something in this game years back where i started with 2 players being controlled with one pad and they turned into red fireballs and started shooting around the screen, wtf was that all about.

Bloody hell. Have the owners of that shop made enough out of you to retire?

Someone has been busy shopping, haven't they Akihabara

Bought a few things myself today.

                              First picture shows

DAISUKI - sort of an adventure simulation with loads of mini games including a 1 on 1 beat'em up. Probably ****e but it does look good.
VIRTUA PHOTO STUDIO - Not cheap at all but well worth picking up due to the rare odd value alone. Probably the only game Acclaim released on the Saturn in Japan that's worth looking at. They didn't make it by the way. If they did it wouldn't even be worth farting on. Anyway, the point of the game is simple. take photos of panties and brests
STAR FIGHTER 3000 - complete crap shooter from Crystal Dynamics
TILK - A nice RPG with some pretty large Princes Crown looking characters
GURUPA! - the 2nd version of this odd puzzle game for the Saturn.

Second Picture shows SOUND NOVEL 2 - from what I can gather you can make your own sound novel.

Third picture shows MAGIC THE GATHERING for the Dreamcast. One of the few "trully" rare Dreamcast games out there. Cost me quite a bit as far as Japanese prices go but well worth it ! Beautiful character models and all English (speech) makes it well worth picking up.

That's right, I found new shops here in the middle of nowhere, good stuff for better prices then in akiba actually. Better then Hard Off, Book Off and Trader together.
