Is Klonoa rare ? I got it mint with point blank demo but its PAL if not it only cost a quid

    Comment

A quid!? It's quite rare now but not mega rare. But I was after the US version because I like the cover and the shipping would have added to the price.

The Klonoa's are quite rare. Prices are a bit higher that you would expect with the only crazy priced one being the Wonderswan game.

I bought the JPN copy of the one Selix bought for 9£ delivered a few weeks ago. I'd probably go as high as Selix for the US copy as well.

There are a few Pal on ebay for well over a quid, job well done for me then .
And to think I only wanted it for point blank

Yeah I've just seen the image a few pages back. All 3 covers for each region are very different! I remember when it first came out and I rented it from my local videoshop about 3 times. It was always available for rental because no one ever rented it and saw what a classic game it is. That's why I think we'll never see a 3rd game.

Edit: When I say I want a 3rd game I mean of the Playstation ones.

Yep, wouldn't expect anymore Klonoa games for a major home console. I have no idea how the series sells in japan but by the amount of GBA games that have been spawned I'd expect they sold a reasonable amount.

              Klonoa on the Wii.

Edit, Knew what you meant chief.

Klonoa on the Wii, that's it! They could use the current game engine used for Klonoa 2 and add some nifty Wii controls to it.

Sorry for going off topic to the people who aren't bothered about this legendary cat! (He is a cat right? some people say he's a Rabbit)

Got some great stuff so far this month. Picked up a few Hori Pad Mini N64 controllers (in red and green) for a bargain price at the start of March. Last week I got this from fleabay:

Been looking for that edition for quite a while. Today I got another N64-related goodie:

That's my money gone for this month!

Quite a few buys last week.

For Game Cube I got Viewtiful Joe 2 for only 500 yen BRAND NEW !! Toys R Us Special., Bio Hazarad Remake and Ridge Racer Evolution. For Dreamcast there's Karasu and Twinkle Star Sprites. Saturn Noon from Yahoo Auctions though I was quite surprised to see it turn up from Hong Kong! and one sad Shogi game by Konami, Densha De Go Shinkansen on the Wii and the Broken Thunder Preview disc. (yeah, I know the last two aren't retro but they are on the same picture )

How much for the Picture Puzzle? If you got it under £25, you did well

A mere $49 + shipping. I was expecting it to go for a bit more, but I was the only person to bid on it.
