Haven't posted here in a long while, but I got this the other day. Mech related strategy from the early SRW makers.

I also got Black/Matrix Cross for ps1 a couple of weeks back but don't have any pics.

A couple of the overlays suffer some "bubbling" but aside from that, hardly played too. Price? 450 GBP, which I think was a "bargain" considering a boxed, complete console (without shipping box) goes for easily over 150 GBP and to get games in that condition would cost 15-20 GBP each...

      You jammy ****

Seeing vectrex stuff in that condition is pretty rare, most games are usually beaten to hell.

I never knew RayBlade was on the PlayStation. At least that now explains why the Dreamcast version looks so ****ty.

How do the games play? Are they any good or have they aged badly?

              Well done btw

Most have held up quite well actually considering... you just have to put yourself in the mindset of pre-crash gaming and that the programmers only had 4K to work with usually, maybe 8K towards the end. Only in the new homebrew era have the carts started going 16K, 32K even 64K in a couple of cases.

I have complete US and Japanese (Kouso) Vectrex sets, I just saw the guy selling all the Europe ones in a group and thought "why not... easiest way to get all of them without hunting". And yes, to find Vectrex games in this condition, especially the European ones, is very rare. As Importaku said, normally you see them quite beaten up (just browse eBay) and/or not complete. Hell, some of the overlays still have the protective green backing on them! That's how unused the games are... likewise the Vectrex itself. He couldn't remember how he got it to still have the shipping box, but it shows he was a collector at heart not to throw it away heh...

(I believe he also had a huge collection of PAL Dreamcast games, but had sold them before I picked up my spoils. He was just clearing out parts of the house before moving... which is today afair).

*drools at the Vetrex*....last time I saw a collection like that, it was round at my old friend Cable's house in Taunton.....although some of his overlays looked like someone had taken a sander to 'em

Sadly, due to the Satellaview nature of the the cart (it stopped being broadcast in 2000) it doesn't go for a massive amount

In this case, I believe it was for different graphics in the game. I've had a copy of the game for a few years...
