Lost in licensing limbo. The Area 88 anime got a remake/reboot more than a few years ago but wasn't exactly good.

It is. Only reason I got rid is that no matter how many times I get an MD, even though there are some quality games and the boxes look it just doesn't 'click' with me the same way Nintendo stuff does.
