Gamesworld Game?

Hi guys,

I just read tv gaming moments article by Marty Greenwell and it
reminded me of something that has literally bugged me for years.

I remember they used to play a game on gamesworld where every contestant was a blob (virus) and one had the virus. The one with the virus had to walk
into the others to pass it on and whoever was stuck with it at the end of the time limit would be eliminated.

What was the name of this, was it ever released or purely for the series?

I know the one on Beat The Elite was Cash Dash, but can't think for the life of me what the blob one was called though.

Think it was just called "Virus" or something, but there's already a game by that name. Both games looked kind of Amiga-ish, and I remember people playing them via Amiga joysticks. Cash Dash seemed to resemble a typical Amiga PD game. Though they could also be Atari ST/PC games.

Cash Dash always looked suspiciously like the work of The Bitmap Brothers to me.

Ahh the memories. I also remember they had a Mr Nutz type game, which everytime it came on I used to change the channel, hated it.

Any more revelations on the virus type game? I been going through all words which could be linked such as Infection, Cure, Out break but no luck.
