    Making MD games

    Bit random this tbh.

Someone I know emailed me yesterday wondering how one goes about making md games. So I asked him exactly what he meant. Apparently what he wanted was to know how to copy games from one format, say snes, and put them on an md cart so you could play them on the md.

LOL I laughed my ****ing arse off.

Don't you just snap the chip out of the SNES cart and glue it into the MD cart

I use paperclips to keep the chips in place myself.

          Really...?

I guess it makes sense. No more messy glue. Never works like they say it will. Damn you Blue Peter! DAMN YOU!!

                It's definitely not impossible guys...

Of course I'm guessing it's not bloody easy, but with the right equipment it's definitely possible.

Except those aren't ports..they are pirates, which prolly means the code of an existing md game has either been refined or the code from a snes game has been cracked and modified.

There's also a second mario pirate

plus many others..KoF 2000, Tekken Special Tag 2 Tournament, Tekken 3 Special, Shishioh 2, Suikoden 3, Tenchi Wu Kurau 3 etc...

The mario creator also apparently got a basic nes emu working on the md!

Yep! They play a bit weird though, it seems a if something smissing... I wouldn't know what because I didn't play the originals. For instance the Mario game, there are no mushrooms or anything

                    Anyone played the originals?

The mario game you've put up I think is just a random game ie not based on ANY mario as such..although some folks reckon it plays a little like the lost levels. Its cack though unlike the other mario pirate that is a port of All Stars Mario 1

The dk game is actually a pretty decnt port of the snes version I believe.
