What are the other two DC light gun games (apart from HotD2 and Confidential Mission)? Are they any good?

Virtua Cop is part of the Sega Smash Pack.
There's some tosh game called Death Crimson OX or something.

House of the Dead II and Confidential Mission really are tops though

I didn't think Crypt Killer was all that bad. OK so it looks horrible, but the game is okish. (I have 2 PAL copies - each copy has different cover art yay!)

Mighty Hits is one to avoid too. Sort of like a poor mans Point Blank with all the fun sucked out.

To go back to PS2 games, I think Police 24/7 may have been a light gun game, too. Quite enjoyable in the arcades (with the motion sensors, "DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU ARE PREGNANT!! etc), apparently it was shocking on the 'Station.

Yeah, it looked truly awful. Quite a smart idea but poorly executed.

Haven't played the PS2 versions of Virtua Cop. What's so bad about them?
Nothing whatsoever - I was a VC vet when I got the PS2 pack (just to save some room by selling my old Saturn guns) and the gameplay, timing, music and everything else is spot on.

Plus the graphics have been *very mildly* improved and the G-Con2 is much more accurate than the old Sega guns (cool though they were).

The PAL version hasn't got a 60Hz mode but is optimised as well as the original Saturn PAL VC1 was.

I recommend doing what I did, that's buying two second hand Namco G-con 1s form Game Station (the grey PS1 versions) as they cost under a tenner each.

Now I can play all the PS1 and PS2 light gun games in my collection (G-con 2 wont work with PS1 games), which are:

                  Point Blank 1 (PS1)
                  Point Blank 2 (PS1)
                  Point Blank 4 (PS1)
                  Time Crisis (PS1)
                  Time Crisis 2 (PS2)
                  Time Crisis 3 (PS2)

I think you can get cheapo versions that have a switch and work on all games, but I prefer NAMCO's own.

Also, I have a fairly cheap RGB SCART, but it has the ports needed for G-con built in to it.

Update: Bought Virtua Cop 1 & 2, House of The Dead III is on it's way. Thinking about buying a Dreamcast for Confidential Mission.

The new (to me heh) Ghost Squad Sega arcade gunner is worth a shot, basically rainbow six on rails, adds a little more interaction to the genre, tho tbh im not so keen on big shoulder pressing guns.....
