contra MD is better than contra SFC

I put it to you that contra on the MD is better in terms of graphics, music, playabilty and replay than the SFC contra.
I have tested both games extensively since their releases and I can confirm that this is most definately case.
What do you people think?

I'm glad you agree. Too many people don't even give this game the time of day. I can beat this game on 1 life with the boss with the two big heads that smash into the ground. I can 1 credit the other paths.

Contra Hard Corps is my fav contra. High replay value, very tough and just fun

I heard Treasure made this one, could be bs but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. I would love it if they made Contra: HC 2 for PSP or DS (would prefere to see it on a console though) in 2D.

Oh my god. You have just quoted a conversation I had with my friend rob. I also heard that CHC was made by treasure or members of treasure. It has some trademark treasurisms. Billions of bosses, good weapons system, amazing graphics for the MD.

I'm not going to bother giving Neo Contra a try though, It's a shame they made it 3D they could of made an excellent 2D-3D contra if they improved on SS.

I agree. why do they even bother? Imagine if they made a new castlevania in the same vein as symphony of the night for the ps2. 2D but with billions of sprites and huge.
God, I wish they would make some new 2D games.

The MD version is technically brilliant, has cool tunes and lots of excitement.

The SFC version is technically mind-blowing, has classic tunes and possibly the best design ever.

Whilst both are excellent, the SFC version is still my no1 contra game; it's a game I often play and will probably still be savouring when I'm 80.
