    Shining Force games

Is anyone here a fan? Shining Force 2 is practically my favourite game of all time. For those interested, I just stuck my Shining Force 3 sealed game on ebay...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MESE:IT

All sealed, plus premium disk if you wanna keep watch.

Anyway, do any of you have/like any of the Shining Games?

Yeah there's a few Shining fans here. I've never had the chance to play the third one though. How much are you expecting for that lot and what's your reserve.

I won't lie to ya, this is really just a test to see what people are willing to pay for sealed copies. If people pay the reserve (which is reasonable IMO) then I'll sell, if not, then I'll keep em a year or so.

If you are just looking to play the games, then I really recommend buying off someone else, as these aren't worth buying to play.

The third is great so far, my action replay cart is a fake though and keeps erasing my saturns backup memory, so if I havent backed up my save I have to start from the one on the cart - and that recently happened setting me back about 5 battles so I've stopped playing for a bit.

I'd watch your back saying things like that in these parts. Some people believe that games are for playing and not collecting. I wouldn't have any problems buying a sealed copy of Radient Silvergun or any other game and opening it to play it. I guess you own unsealed copies of all of those aswell then?

If you're a fan then why are you selling something as rare and enjoyable as the Premium disc? Do you have two of everything?

To answer your original question though, I'm a massive ShF fan - have a look at the new avatar I uploaded this afternoon. You should check out the reviews and articles I wrote for this site if you're interested.

Yeah, the phone ones piss me off because I'll never get to play em.

If someone in Japan wants to buy a phone, load the games on and post it to me I'll love em forever.

I'm on SFC as you may know also, and yes I do have copies of the discs that I play on. I just came by these a bit ago.

Except for the premium disk, which I got myself. But at the end of the day, I can't bring myself to open it, so it has to go - even just to buy an opened one to play on.

I reallly don't understand. You're going to sell a sealed game just to buy an opened one?

Why don't you save yourself a lot of hassle and just open the one you have? The profit margin can't be that high.

I read your review yesterday for Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon, Kaladron. Don't tend to purchase games from a review, but you caught my interest with this one. Found a new copy for $20 and intend to buy it, can't wait either - this will be my first Shining game.

Well I'll take that as a complement. Thanks.

If you like RotDD then I reccomend you get a Mega Drive with Shining Force II. It's very, very good.
