V-Saturns and Crappy Lasers...!!

So my V-Saturn laser broke again last night, the third or fourth time in about 9 months, go knows why the sodding thing keeps breaking, not even running backups on the bloody thing....Ahhh off to the car booty to source some saturn lasers...ah well of to the land of the rising sun soon, ill buy a plethora of saturns and rule the laser world..hahahaahahhha..

Are you sure you are settung the lasers to the right voltage? Maybe the V-Saturns are slightly different than the Sega ones. I owned a V-Saturn wich never game me a day's trouble. Got a Hi-saturn too and a first Gen Sega Saturn which get's used all the time. What I mean to say is that Saturns are normally very good for lasers.

Yeah well my laser was originally set, byself to read a greater *ahem* depth of games, cd-r's *ahem*...but adjusted the screw/nob thing back to a regular laser. But havent ran backups on my V-Saturn in aaaggesss. Thinking og opting for a Hitachi model can you recomend them over the V??
im really after a Skeleton but think ill wait until my trip to Tokyo, too pricy over here!

I'd say that the Victor Saturn is the worst of the lot anyway. The Hitachi one is pretty nice to look at plus comes with the vcd card as standard. It also has the best boot up screen. To be honest though mine is a little on the noisey side. No where near as bad as a Dreamcast but still worse than my Sega branded one.

ive got a VSaturn mk2. ive had it for a while, and its never gave me any bother. from the lot, i still think the white saturn looks the best(a clean one anyway!) i'd say the ugliest award goes to the grey jap one
