Dreamcast lightgun games

I have got two guns for my DC. Was going to give one to my lad, and try and get him a game or two, but at the moment HOTD 2 is a bit scary for him. Are there any other compatible games for the gun? If not, then I think I will get him a G-Con for his PSOne and he can lend my Point Blank games.

Ahhh - just noticed the other thread from yonks ago.

In that case - if I can ask whether any of the others would be suitable - i.e. no scary bits or blood?

basically theres three/four games that are gun compatible. hotd2, confidential mission and death crimson/death crimson OX (no pal release though). all are neat!

Basically thats every light gun game on DC listed. Death Crimson OX is kinda like House of the Dead 2 so maybe not one you want to try, I remember my nephew having nightmares having insisted on playing House of the Dead 2, was hillarious

My boy is the sort who will insist that he isn't scared - but then end up trying to sleep in our room. My mum bought him a glow-in the dark mask at halloween - was a skeleton one - he played with it all day and thought it was excellent - he then woke up in the middle of the night, got freaked out by the glowing skull, and we ended up having to throw it away because he was so scared.

Despite the genius comedy in the game, he is an impressionable little bugger so will end up dreaming of zombies and stuff if he played HOTD2, and will therefore proverbially be "suffering like G did".

I thought Death Crimson OX was not compatable with the light gun (the US release)? Death Crimson 2 (Jap version) definitely is..

Can anyone confirm this?

the US version isn't compatible with the official light gun, you can get it with a 3rd party gun in an official (Sammy) box set in the states though.
