ET on the Atari 2600 ..... erm .....

    Batman: the Movie (C64/Amiga)
    Robocop (arcade)
    StarWars (arcade)
and if N64 is retro enough , then ofcourse the amazingly good Goldeneye!

Batman Returns on the Mega CD! Totally blew me away when I first saw it and even now it looks and plays great. Awesome music too. Shame they had to include the crusty platform bits from the MD version, but you can turn those off.

Goldeneye is a given here. A title probably under a lot of radars was Ocean's Navy SEALS for the C64. Absolutely stonking game based on the absolutely terrible movie. Just shows what you can do with a license. Ditto The Untouchables, but that was more a collection of different games than a coherant experience that Navy SEALs was.

Mayhem has pulled two classics out of the bag there. I loved those games as a lad - the Untouchables was awesome!!

Another crap film/decent game was Hudson Hawk - anyone play that? Well, I liked it. The C64 Thundercats game was mint as well - not a film but SHOULD be.

Honourable mentions for Batman Returns (half decent SNES scrolling beat 'em up), Robocop (arcade), Robocop 3 (C64), Ghostbusters (C64).

Classiest of the lot for me though is Amiga Batman. Very well put together and good atmospheric music.

Worst film licenced game I have ever played was Give My Regards To Broad Street on the C64 - an incomprehensible game of a **** Paul Mccartney film.

I Can't understand why they never made a game of the movie - 'mac and me'. Imagine how good that could have been!
